I edit videos and since I have to record plenty I need memory and also memory for backup, this is my second Seagate BarraCuda that I have on my computer. I got the second one to backup the first just in case something goes wrong. It was easy to install, I found the cables on my computer, plugged both cables and then in settings just added the memory and done. I also downloaded the Seagate health checkup to keep an eye on it. I like that it comes with a 2 year warranty. It reads and writes fast and since I edit large videos I need something fast and this keeps up. I like how it works. easy to install and setup and very reliable.

Works Hasn't broken Lots of space Reliable and quiet too

They work as advertised. Good speeds . Been using them for over a decade

Works great. Easy to install. Used as the main hard driveof my built PC other than the solid state drive in the motherboard.

Great hard drive! Service was great and quick! Fits well in my system and adds a bunch of space for VODs and games!

I bought 2 of these hard drives. I bought one hard drive from the Valparaiso, Indiana, store, and I had to drive 40 miles to the Homewood, Illinois, store to get another one because no one at the Merrillville, Indiana, store would retrieve it from the locked cabinet for me.

Pretty good so far using like 1/4th of it at the moment still going good

best hard drive for 1000 games and stuff to download on

This is a great product for storing files as a back up drive. Main drive is SSD. No problems with it once shipped here. Holds all my emulation roms and movie files. Very good deal.

Great brand and they brought everything to my car very quickly. I use these in a media server and it is perfect.

I have so much music in iTunes, that my 2TB were getting full. This hard drive did the trick. Plus, I got it on sale.

Solid drive, replaced two aging 3TB drives in my NAS. If these things last as long as the WD drives I had, they were worth every penny.

Can’t beat all the storage space. I was needing a upgrade for game storage and for art projects.

I like it, so far it's still lasting, it hardly makes any noise

It's exactly what I needed and a great holiday gift!

Not the greatest in terms of speed, but it gets the job done.

Good devices and value for the money. This is a standard drive but serves its purpose for my storage and backup needs at 8 TB

This HDD has been working great. When I received it it was in protective packaging which made me feel better about it being shipped. Opening and installing the device was very straightforward and easy with minimal effort aside from moving some wires inside of my PC. Set up was also very quick an once it was recognizable and formatted I was able to use it right away with very little space taken away from the formatting process. One issue I would have with the device is not having it come with a SATA cable. Many people wouldn’t assume it would come with or without one, but I would say including one would help those using the device. I was lucky to have an extra lying around so it wasn’t a problem for me. Overall great device and easy setup!

I purchased the Seagate BarraCuda 8TB drive at Best Buy to expand the storage on my personal PC, and it’s been an excellent choice. Installation was quick and easy, and the drive performs smoothly with fast read/write speeds. It’s perfect for storing large files, games, backups, and media. The operation is quiet and efficient, and it delivers exactly what I needed—plenty of space with dependable performance. Highly recommended for anyone needing high-capacity storage
