4TB of network storage

I use them to store movies, music and pictures and its nice to have all of that available to any computer or streaming device on my internal network.

It was just what I needed

It fits nicely into my home network and has loads of storage. I can access it from my wireless computers and save whatever I want to as if it were my computers' native hard drive.

good central back up unit

There is a work around if you call Segate, but they should just fix this issue.

Great NIC for the price

I can do all by backups on all my computers on my home network all to the Seagate Central. Loaded it with movies, pictures and audio and they are all accessible on all my TV's and all computers. One of the great things is I can watch movies from the Seagate Central through a wireless router to all my Tablets, cell phones, Nexas 7 etc. anywhere there is a wifi setup. Transfer speed across the gigabite lan is about 36 Mbs, which is about the correct speed for a gigabite router. And the price for a 4 TB drive is outstanding!

Very easy to set up, lots of capacity

I have three grand children, and like to take still pictures and video, so I filled several smaller drives already. This will hold me for a while:-)

I love Seagate products
