It's got plenty of storage space for what I need and it freed up my 1 TB drive so I can use it on the road.

Great Drive!

That's why I went with this large drive as opposed to the cost of SSD. This drive is humming right along with the transfer! Simple plug and play, and already formatted for the best portable storage. Be sure to connect it to your fastest USB port for peak performance. USB 3 runs apx. 4x faster transferring data to this portable drive from my desktop as opposed to USB 2. There is no power cord, because it's not needed. It's just plug and play. Enjoy!
