We have a Labrador/Australian Shepard mix - AKA an Aussiedor! Ruckus, the good boy, is a shed machine. Let me preface this by saying the house is always tidy. We run a robot vacuum at least three times a week and get gobs of hair at least three times a week. I vacuum with an upright once a week. And I get gobs of hair then, as well. The vacuum I had been using was a newer Hoover, less than two years old. That is maintained, filters cleaned, and all of that hoo-ha. I was not too fond of the length of the Hoover hose as it was challenging to get to various areas. I ran the Hoover for grins when I got the Shark - Vertex DuoClean. Then I ran the Shark. The pile of Ruckus hair in the photo is what the Shark picked up right after running the Hoover. That is what the Hoover missed! That dog hair is now in the bin where it belongs. Wowsers! The detachable canister is sweet. Reaching under furniture with just the head assembly is groovy. We have had a few Shark products over the years and currently have two air purifiers in addition to the new Shark—Vertex DuoClean. We are always pleased with Shark products; they are a good value, and this vacuum is a good upgrade for us. It looks like the good boy Ruckus has met his shed match.

I have been using the Shark Vertex for three years now, and I recommend it is a good vacuum; it picks up dust and hairir and is quieter and I use it every day for four houses. Wow! This thing really sucks! Hoping that this vacuum will last us for many decades to come, but it truly does a great job of cleaning deep! Only con is that it's so heavy.

To be honest, one of the best suction vacuum. My mom love . One of the good things is that you can detach and go under the bed etc… with no problem. The filters are washable and if you need to replace is not expensive . I love this vacuum better than Dyson 100%.

This vacuum really sucks! In a good way of course! The multiple filter system is awesome and kicks our battery powered Dyson to the curb. The photo below is the first vacuuming after using the Shark after years of using the Dyson. The second photo is after another vacuuming. Gross right? I would highly recommend this vacuum.

This vacuum has great suction power but the exhaust blows everything everywhere, the controls on the handle make life so much easier I do 3 houses a day 5 days a week minimum, the wheels are sticky so on laminate it will leave streaks a mop will take care of it but better have a detailed person mopping, another thing is it is heavy! But definitely drives like a Cadillac

This vacuum exceeded my expectations! Its sucking power is phenomenal and I was shocked how much it picked up out of my furniture and rugs that my previous vacuum has left behind!

After the purchase of our new home, we bought this shark and we are glad we did! This vacuum does a great job getting things in deep and also shallow carpet! The shark also performs well on hardwood as we have dog hair everywhere! It’s a great purchase!

It might be premature to be writing this review because I just got the Shark today. I really thought my Dyson was doing a pretty good job but check out the results in the pictures. This was after vacuuming part of my upstairs. Also, you can compare the brush rollers from the Shark compared to my Dyson in my pictures below! Amazing! I have really long hair that I am constantly using a swifer to pick up so I don't clog my vacuum. This vacuum worked as promised at least after one use! The other reason I bought it was for the lift of feature so I can clean my stairs. This also worked great.

Amazing vacuum at $300 on sale. Quieter than I'm used to and very intuitive to use. Feels like a quality vacuum. The only thing to be aware of it that it does pull itself rather quickly when the brush roll is engaged- I nearly ran right into a wall my first time using it.

This vaccum works great on my hard wood floors & carlet the power is awesome. So easy to assemble everything. Gone thru 4 different Brands in the same price range & hands down this SHARK VERTEX is GREAT overall.

I love the quality of my new vacume. It is easy to use and really gets all the pet hair. It self propells andis easy to assemble.

Again a bit heavy for me because of my chronic back issues. So going to try a lighter one.

I absolutely love this vacuum! We have two dogs, an Aussie and a blue healer that shed a lot. I vacuum daily and it’s the only one I have had so far that doesn’t get clogged with their hair. It works great on carpet, wood floor, and our tile flooring. I have also never cleaned the brush rollers on the bottom and the other day I check them, there is absolutely no hair on it.

This vacuum is even better than my Dyson!! I have a car and I can’t believe the cat hair that is picked up!! This was after my Dyson was ran on the carpet!!

The suction power on this vacuum is superb. I vacuum all things dry. I use it in the house, porch, and to clean up construction debris. I'm super hard on vacuums and this on is still going after 2+ years. Photo is after 2+ years

Great vacuum. Picked up so much more dirt compared to our old shark.

It works great - it sucks! (Haha, get it?) It picks up a lot of dirt I didn't know was in the carpet. It is easy to empty, too.

Has been the best vacuum I’ve owned in this price range. I enjoy using it and it works great.
