I wanted a good but inexpensive 40" class TV, and the Sharp was available. I have another similar Sharp and have been very pleased with it's performance over 4 years. I purchased the set, took it home, had it installed (Blu-ray dvd and outside aerial :) ) in a couple of minutes, a couple of minutes for it to walk me through the initial setup, and all was fine. The image quality is good to excellent, the controls are straightforward, and I had absolutely no problems with anything.

Looking for a medium sized TV for a bedroom and this was a great addition at a supreme price. Very happy with the purchase.

The tv is everything!!!!! The picture quality is awesome and the size is great. However, the sound is not that good. Need better speakers.
