The original PS2 classic has been revived for the Switch and PS4. If you were a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series, or it’s more well known spin-off franchise Persona, then you’ll be right at home with Nocturne. The HD remaster features several new Quality of Life additions, easing up difficulty for new players or those just looking to experience the story. As well, DLC options give players the choice between the original US Release (the “Maniax” upgrade in Japan) that features Dante from Capcom’s Devil May Cry franchise as a guest cameo character and party member, or Raidou Kuzunoha from Atlus’ own Devil Summoner games, who replaced Dante in a subsequent re-release of the game in Japan.
