They are comfortable and easy to put on. I sometimes forget I even have them on. They stay on my ear; I bought these to replace my Samsung earbuds that I had for several years and those kept coming out and I would accidentally hang up on people trying to get them in but with these I dont have that problem. These have great sound quality both for listening to music and carrying on a conversation. There is an app you can download to control them which is a bonus. Also, you don't have a designated earbud of right or left; both can be worn on either side which I believe is a game changer.

I bought these for my wife for Christnas, She loves them and gets work done around the house much faster. I do catch her singing along with the music as she works. These stay in place and do not fall out of the ears. You can take a phone call and I can hear my wife and she can hear me perfectly fine. They are comfortable and lightweight. They aren't noise canceling, but she says she doesn't hear much environmental noise when she wears them. I highly recommend. There is an app that you can download that is supposed to make the sound quality even better, but she said she can't seem to get it to connect, but the sound quality isn't bad. She would highly recommend these to busy moms

These earbuds are excellent! And the Best Buy exclusive blue ones give a nice option from the three black/white/pink colors available on the Shokz site.
They’re great for all day work, commutes, workouts. They stay on your ears and the battery life is beastly! I’m like, when will these die? Answer: NEVER!
Only thing I’d say is that if you do workouts that require your head to be bobbing up and down, turn off the motion sensitivity or it’ll think you’re taking them off and stop your podcast mid-bob.

I have owned the Open Run Pros for about four years, and they're still going strong with daily use. My wife liked them, but with her long hair, she felt they would be a hassle. When she learned Shokz had these clip-ons, we bought them. We've had them for about one month now, and they are fantastic. The battery life, sound quality, and connectivity features are all top-notch. The phone mic built into these do a fantastic job with whatever noise-cancelling voodoo technology Shokz uses. For me, I'll still prefer the Open Run Pro line for their incredible ability to stay stuck to my head. My wife loves them so far with no complaints.

If you don't need noise cancelling and prefer an open ear design for working, out these are perfect. Sound shockingly good and stay securely in place while running and working out, unlike in-ear buds that will gradually slip out from sweat and lose sound quality as they shift. Great design and great quality.

I actually really love the Shokz Open Dots. I find myself reaching for them a lot more than any of my other headphones or ear buds. They are so com that I forget that I'm wearing them. The fact that you can still hear your surroundings while listening to music or audiobooks is huge. I also own some very expensive Sony earbuds and headphones with passthrough listening but I prefer the natural sound of these. The active passthrough on other buds tends to amplify ambient noise. It's especially noticeable when walking over leaves, gravel or frozen surfaces. I find that distracting and it takes away from the listen experience. Also being able to wear these in bed and not being shut out from normal noises such as my kids or god forbid a smoke detector plays a huge factor in my opinion. Are these audiophile grade earbuds? No, these aren't designed for that. They do however sound very good on you tweak the EQ in the app. Would I recommend these to a friend or family member? Absolutely.

I really love this flexible clip type open ear earphone. I hardly notice that im wearing one. Very comfortable with good high, middle and bass for its type. I also like there's no Left and Right earpiece. I also love its battery life and bluetooth range.

My girlfriend bought me these after we tried them at the demo stand and they way they feel as if I’m not even wearing them is amazing, I often forget I even have them on when not listening to anything. The sounds quality is 10/10 and the battery life of the earbuds themselves last me 10hrs on average without having to put them back into the case to charge.

My new favorite ear buds.

Shokz has been known for years for making a variety of earphones and buds, and for me, one of my favorite pair of them are some bone conducting buds, that sit on instead of in your ear, allowing you to hear your surroundings while still getting good sound. The new Shokz OpenDots One buds work in a similar way, in that you can hear your music and calls and still hear your surroundings, but in this case, they clip onto your ears, so the speakers rest inside your outer ear, but do not block your inner ear canals.
The OpenDots come with a pill shaped charging case that will give you several charges when fully topped up. I’ve been able to get roughly 5 hours of use using medium volume out of the pair before they show signs of of sputtering out. You just pop them back in the case to recharge and then reuse. You’ll get several more charges from the case before it needs charged itself, and you can use a short (or any) USB-C cable to charge it, or, it will also charge wirelessly, though a little slower that way. The buds fit neatly into the case. Long-pressing the button on the back puts it into Bluetooth pairing mode, and I have had no issues connecting them to my iPhone or my TV. A short press on the button will show you the battery life on the case – green, orange, or red. It would be nice to have several small lights to better let you know how much charge is in it, though.
Once connected, you just clip/slide them onto the side of your ear, with the speakers resting in your outer ear area and the battery/control area semi behind your ear. In a way, they almost look like clip-on earrings (at least according to a few people who have seen them on me). They’re more comfortable than I thought they’d be. They don’t pinch, but stay secure, even when I move my head around. They haven’t slipped off at all, so I feel they are secure. Even after a few hours of wear, they aren’t uncomfortable, so long as you don’t literally lay down on your side with them in.
Controls are easy. A quick guide is on the wrapper and on a small sheet included in the box. You can pinch both sides of the battery compartment a couple of times to play/pause music. Pinching and holding for a couple of seconds on the right increases the volume, and lowers it on the left. The two pinch method also works to answer a call, or you can tap the inner portion of the OpenDots twice to do the same thing. Holding the pinch on both sides will reject a call. The combinations take a few times to get the hang of, but they work well. I haven’t seen a specific water repellent rating for this model, but in general, Shokz has been known to at least be decently swear resistant, so I haven’t had any issues with that aspect of it.
Sound quality is very good. A little weak with just one ear, but using both together, the sound opens up really nicely, with a good range of highs and lows. People around me say they can’t really hear anything unless I crank them up a good bit. Calls are ok. I can hear people very well, but do have to talk slightly above normal volumes in order for them to hear me. I’ve been told they can tell I’m on earbuds, but they also said I’m clear enough to get the job done.
I’m giving the OpenDots One five stars, because they are not only very innovative in design, but are comfortable and work well. They may become my favorite pair of earbuds! Recommended.

These Shocks OpenDots earbuds aren’t far superior to Apple’s earbuds. They have a lot longer battery life. They can connect to 2 devices at once. I use them with my office computer to make calls to clients, have teams meetings and dictate letters and emails. Great noise cancellation and much better sound than Apple iPods.

I love these! I can’t wear AirPods so I have been buying over the ear options, but if I lay down or put my head to the side, they are always in the way. Plus I wear glasses, so over the ear options become painful. These just clip on the outside of my ear, so no worries about pain behind the ears. At work I usually just wear one, so I can still hear if someone asks me a question. The sound is really really good even wearing just one of them. They connected easily to my phone, and they operate quite simply.

After trying dozens of models, I finally found the best ones. The sound adapts to my needs and how I want to wear them. They don't feel like they're falling off. They're not heavy! They're very comfortable and easy to use. I like them so much that I bought a second pair for my grandmother!

The battery of my AirPods 3 (not noise cancelling) is finally giving up the ghost, so I'm looking for a replacement. I have AirPods 4 with noise cancellation, which is good as is the bass, but the higher registers are muffled and annoying to listen to. Instead of buying new AirPods 3, I thought I'd try these, and I'm quite pleased. The vocals on podcasts and audiobooks is great. The bass is nothing to write home about, but acceptable and better than the AirPods 3, and good enough that music still sounds good. The fit is so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them. They don't pair with my iPhone quite as automatically as the AirPods, but it's still painless. I use Bose Quiet comfort Ultra (2nd gen) for exercise (great sound and noise cancellation, but you never forget they're in your ears. I use these Shokz the rest of the day.

Great solution for podcasts and YouTube video type of content. Comfort is next level. For the first time in my life I forgot I was wearing them into a store. Easy to fall asleep with them in as well.
If you want this for calls, look elsewhere. The microphone is mid at best. Battery life is excellent. I knew this going in.
If you are looking for audiophile sound, again look elsewhere. This does sound much better than my bone conduction Shokz, but then I have a different use case for those as well.

I was first introduced to Shokz when my girlfriend’s son got a pair of the OpenFit earbuds, he loved them so much I ended up getting the OpenRun headphones. Both sets have been great and the OpenRun have now been given to my girlfriend after getting the OpenDots. She never liked any in ear earbuds and the Shokz were the first wireless headphones she liked. The biggest draw for all of us with the Shokz brand is the fact of not having earbuds in the ear, so less chances of getting an ear infection from in ear earbuds.
With the OpenDots, you get a pair of earbuds you’re not having to constantly adjust, I mean with these, you can literally put them on and never touch them again. I was really surprised at how well these stay on the ear, but even more surprised at how good they sound. These things sound just as good as in ear buds, which you would think they wouldn’t since they don’t seal the ear canal. With the Shokz app, you can choose different sound profiles or create your own. You also have find my earbuds functionality in the app.
Usage wise, Shokz claim up 40 hours of listening and when it’s time to charge you have fast charging via USB-c or wireless charging. They also have multi point functionality as well as being able to use each earbud independent of each other for both music and calls. The OpenDots show you can have great sound from an innovative set of ear buds that aren’t in ear earbuds.

This is my first time using an open-ear headphone set, and it's absolutely worth it! I love the battery life, comfort and fit. I wore them all day today and didn't once feel discomfort. Sound quality is amazing for then open air design. Call quality was excellent.

The comfort and sound quality is amazing on these headphones. I was a little skeptical about these since they are not inside your ear. But they still sound loud and clear. They also hang onto your ears really well without feeling uncomfortable.
