Surprisingly good sound quality from a very comfort headset. I actually use it primarily for gaming as I find prolonged wearing of headphones that cover my ears to be uncomfortable. Also its nice to be able to hear what's going on around me where with headphones it was like being in an isolation box.
The one issue I have is that they don't appear to support Bluetooth LE so if the mic is in use it actually has to change the sound quality to a single channel low bit. This is apparently true of any bluetooth headset that doesn't support Bluetooth LE.

This product has been an excellent purchase from the moment I started using it. The performance is fast and reliable, and it handles everyday tasks with ease. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the design is sleek and modern.
What I appreciate the most is how smooth everything runs — no delays, no issues, just a great user experience overall. The battery life is also impressive and lasts longer than expected.
I’m very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable and high-quality product at a great price.

A good upgrade after my open run shokz that unfortunately broke after a couple years. The sound quality is a nice upgrade a the battery is great. It charges quickly and uses a USB c port, which is convenient over the proprietary connection of the old ones

It works great. No problem with matching it with my phone or watch. The music is very clear and the battery last for several hours over several days without charging. It even tells you the remaining charge when first turned on.

The Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 strikes a solid balance: much better sound than past bone-conduction pods, secure fit, long battery, all via universal USB‑C, while still keeping you aware. If outdoor safety matters most and you can overlook in‑ear fidelity, it’s one of the best in its class. Just be mindful of fit, durability, and that open-ear trade-offs apply.

I bought these headphones for my wife. She loves to run and listen to music. These headphones supply the perfect balance between listening to music and providing a safe environment while running. The sound quality was great and they connect to her phone seamlessly I would recommend these headphones to anybody who’s looking for a sound system to exercise with.

I have been wearing my open earbuds for over a week. And a 1/2 now have not taken them off. These things are amazing. I don't know why anybody would ever want to use. No easy counseling unless it's for a specific reason. The other one just kept falling out of my ears. These things you can jog run. Do whatever you want. I'm absolutely loving them. Don't hesitate great quality. Good connection.

I have been using the first generation of the OpenRun Pro for running and walking for about two years now, and I decided to see if this new version made them better- the answer is absolutely YES. Battery life is a little bit better, the fit and comfort are still just as good, but the sound is markedly better. Music and voice are clearer and richer, and this version avoids the vibration feeling you could get with the previous generation. On my runs I listen to audiobooks, podcasts, and music, and these headphones do well with all of them. You will still get better sound from high-quality earbuds or over-ear headphones, but if you want to still be able to hear around you for safety, like I do on runs, these are great.

Got them for $149 on sale and used some reqards. Kinda offwet the high cost. But they’re super lightweight, comfortable, and i got the bright orange ones just so they’re easy to find and onvioos that they’re on my head (makes people go away lol). The bass is much improved on these over the previous versions. Awesome for listening to podcasts and / or talking on the phone while your hands are occupied, but you wanna be aware of your surroundings…

I love these. They fit great, and the sound quality is amazing. I love that there is a separate pause button away from the power and volume buttons. And my ears are very happy that I am no longer using the in-ear buds that caused so much discomfort. I wore these all day and almost forget they are on.

I bought these mainly to ride my bike and still be able to have a phone call or listen to music. These headphones are outstanding at staying put while being comfortable. The sound is surprisingly good considering the sound is not going directly into the ear the way a regular headphone would. Conversations are very clear and music is acceptable. It is not the same wide sound range as a regular pair of headphones, but that cannot be expected considering how the sound is transmitted. This was a so worth it purchase.

I started off with the OpenRun headset and loved it. Saw this on sale and wanted some deeper bass and better volume. This definitely improved on both and also loving the extra battery. One of the best aspects of these open ear headsets is you can wear them for extended periods with not ear fatigue. Sometimes I even forget that I have them on. Definitely recommend this headset for those that don’t need earbuds in their ears.

I've been a fan of Shokz and open run for years for the simple appeal of being situationally aware while biking, hiking and other sportz. The latest iteration realy ups the bass and overall sound quality, use of a common charge cords, and handles sweat, water better than anything else around. Being able to wipe off the grime rather than digging out ear tips can't be overstated. Seriously a most undderated feature. Being situationally aware in any public area is the the biggest an most obvious selling feature.

These fit my head well, and I have a big head, so they are surprisingly comfortable as well. I can wear them all day and not remember I'm wearing them. They also seem to last all day for me through calls and listening to music and podcasts. I like that I can still be aware of my surroundings while listening to things.

Overall these are pretty good. The quality of the sound is nice and clear, albeit low volume. And the battery life is long, and changes quick.
But the new tech seems to not be doing any bone conduction at all (or VERY little).
If I take and hold them half of an inch off of my skin (not touching me at all), the sound quality doesn't change at all.
These have little speakers that emit sound into your ear cup instead of relying on the vibrations via bone conduction.
I think because of this, the bass is very low.
Just for transparency, the volume was so low, I consulted a friend who has had many bone conduction variants and they told me these had to be broke. So I exchanged them for a new pair, and the new pair are the same. I can barely hear a podcast at max volume, while jogging on a windy day.
Other issue I have are with the high end. The ends are magnetic and snap together. When they do, you can hear a subtle ringing sound. This ringing sound also occurs with many mid-high to high frequencies and can be quite annoying.
Hi Taylor- Shokz here. We're very sorry to hear this has been your experience. We’re excited to share that we’ve just upgraded to the latest firmware version, and it can be updated via the Shokz app for the best experience with your OpenRun Pro 2. There is also a phone setting that may resolve the low volume issue. -On the iPhone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety, make sure that the Reduce Loud Audio Feature is switched off as this will affect the volume of the headphone. -On an Android, go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphone and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for it. If you decide these are not a good fit for you, we have a 45-day return window. Please visit our website, click "Support" and "Return Center" to begin a claim. Thank you!

I work in a place where headphones and earbuds aren't allowed to be used, but these are since they don't cover or go into your ears, meaning you can still hear what's going on around you. Great sound, bass is mid (as should be expected from anything that doesn't push air directly onto your eardrum), battery lasts for 1-2 work days, depending on settings and usage.
