I really like the soda maker. It is so much easier than carrying heavy cases of soda into the house. I can make what I need when I need it. No more half empty 2 litre bottles to carry either. It does not have the visible bubbles like the canned or bottled soda, but the fizz is there and it does not need electric. I would recommend it gladly.

Got this on sale for 1/2 off, def. overpriced if paying over 50. Great to be able to make your own fizzy water, and drinks using fruits, juices, ect. Even their regular syrups have that "diet" taste due to the sweeteners they use. This is not gonna satisfy those used to drinking the name brand regular sodas. If your buying mainly for the ability to have seltzer water on demand, with the benefit of adding your favorite flavorings to your fizzy water...go for it...you;ll be happy

My boyfriend was telling me about an infomercial he saw with a soda machine. After I investigated and found out what it was I purchased it as a surprise. He loves that dang on soda machine. The only issue I have with the machine is after the carbonator runs out you can only get it refilled from certain stores. When it first ran out I came back to Best Buy only to be informed that I could only get it from certain stores i.e. Bed Bath and Beyond. I just wish it was an easier way to get the carbonator. Other than that, the machine works wonders and it tastes like real soda that you buy from the store, some flavors are better than others.

Bought this for a friend for Christmas and it is loved! She makes her own soda, or plain old carbonated water and uses it everyday. it's easy to use, no trouble to maintain or anything. This is a gift/item that will get plenty of use over the years. We are very happy with it thus far. I highly recommend this to anyone considering an item such as this.

At first I bought this hoping to save money. Once I started using it, I figured out that all this considered, it's about the same cost as buying name brand soda 2 liter bottles. The main advantage is taste. The SodaStream syrups use real cane sugar, not corn syrup, so the taste is much better. Message to Best Buy... Please stock CO2 refills in your stores... I went through my first one in about 2 weeks, and refilling by mail order is a pain... Actually, the biggest disadvantage of the product.

Easy to use and the whole family enjoys making their own soda. what a great idea. We make it fresh as we need it.

The filling process is easy, removing the bottle can be a challenge, since the bottle is hard to unscrew after filling it. However, the taste of Selzer water is great when you use filtered water, absolutely love that there is nomore shopping for bottles and throwing away of trash.

This is the perfect product to make your own soda at home. They offer plenty of flavors to satisfy everyone End it is really easy to make a bottle of your own homemade soda

This product saves you a lot of money and so far all this favors taste like the real thing including the energy drink taste like Red Bull. The soda last forever never losing the fizz. I just love this product. Each flavor makes 50-8oz drink, the cartridge of co2 makes150-8oz sodas . You can also make your own club soda. You also do not seem to drink as much soda.

I love it and the kids enjoy it. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to give their kids or themself soda with the enormous amount of sugar and calories.

I'm a lifelong soda drinker. was attracted to this device to reduce my aluminum can/plastic bottle footprint. it's easy to use, and there is almost nothing to clean up. I just wish the soda flavored tasted more like the brand names, but they get the job done.

I bought a SodaStream because I had heard about them from many podcasters. I had a bit of money leftover from my birthday and thought it would be a fun thing to try. It has worked out nicely.

This is great for everyone at work. They can get the soda they want and it cut down on the waste and cost the we have buying all those different drink, also give more space in the break room. We had this for the last 2 month and about half of the co-worker had gone out and bought one for their own home.

While the Genesis makes fine soda water, the 60L carbonation canister just doesn't last long enough. As most others would agree, the soda syrups put out by Sodastream are mostly terrible - they all have that diet soda aftertaste. I will be passing the Genesis on to a friend and replacing it with the Fizz which can accommodate the larger 130L canister - but I'm still gonna stay away from the terrible syrups.

This is the perfect way to try something new. My family and i recieved the Soda Stream as a Christmas gift an its awsome , we love it we keep it in the bar an it makes a nice additon to the bar itself. Also if you are into the energy drinks like (Monster) Soda Stream Energy is right on the money. Over all can't loose on this item

My only complaint is that you have to get used to screwing the bottles in - it's sort of counter intuitive since the whole righty tighty thing is reversed. But it's a small problem, easily overcome. I've enjoyed experimenting with making my own flavors using powdered drink mixes and fruit juice concentrates.

I really, really wanted to love this product but couldn't. Tried almost all of the flavors in the trial pack and bought a couple of additional ones but they were all horrible. The only one that was decent was the cherry cola, but that was it. They all left an awful aftertaste. The product itself works well and seems well made. Little expensive for what it is, considering I can get a paintball CO2 cylinder much cheaper, but it seems durable. Unfortunately I returned it though as I just could not stand the flavors.

More healthy than regular soda. Taste the same with less sugar. Small device, easily stored.

The soda taste just like regular pop you get from the store and it's really easy to use.

A little pricey, but will save you money in the long run. I do not like the proprietary CO2 replacement cartridges, should use universal ones. Another way to exploit the consumer for more dough =)
