The sound is great especially for how compact the speaker is and it makes it easy to bring with you on your travels. In addition, I love how easy it connects with my current outdoor Sonos speakers and allows me to bring up to pool deck or inside home while continuing to playing same music.

The Roam 2 packs a punch for a small portable speaker. I recently bought two to get stereo sound when hooked up to my phone as well as my mp3 player ( sony Zx707 walkman). The bass and treble are great out of the box, when connected to the app you can tweak it to your liking. The Trueplay feature is excellent in balancing the sound throughout my room.
As a mono speaker its great when traveling. I use it while im at work driving. The bluetooth feature works great and the setup is very easy. Battery life is good, i keep the sound at half and i get around 8-10hrs, which is fine for me since my shift is 8hrs.
The price when compared to ue, bose, jbl, sony, hk is competitive and wasnt really an issue.

I love my Roam 2 .. It sounds loud and great both inside and outside. I was a little scared I wouldn't hear enough bass outdoors, but it actually sounds great!
I got the white one looking at it like a mini paint canvas, I'm an artist and can't wait to personalize it!

I gave my daughter a Roam 2 for her 13th birthday, and she absolutely loves it; she can take it with her wherever she wishes, and its performance is outstanding.

Great handy little speaker that works with the Sonos system. Sounds pretty good, but not quite as good as my JBL flip 4. Takes a bit to connect to wi-fi, but has strong connection once it does. Handy to take to gazebo out back and listen to same music playing in whole house.

Ive been wanting to get the first gen, but never get to buy one. The Roam 2 came out a few days ago and i decided to get one. The sound quality definitely not the best for its price, but as an addition to my Sonos system, it’s fantastic! I have two Era 100 as stereo pair set up in the far back of my room, and a homepod mini on my desk as a complete set up. Now I switched out the homepod mini for a Roam 2, it sounds amazing! And the best part is, I can take this little speaker with me everywhere! I would say it’s worth it!

It’s fantastic except for a few podcasts then you need to use it in Bluetooth setting when Alexa gives you the error message… then you might have to reset factory default then go through the setup or just enable the Bluetooth…

Works great. Sub could sound better. Haven’t used it much so I’m not sure about battery life.

I recently picked up the Sonos Roam 2 from the Best Buy in Frisco, and it has quickly become one of my favorite portable speakers. For such a compact device, the sound quality is incredible—rich, clear, and surprisingly powerful. The bass is impressive for its size, and vocals come through crisp and clean whether I’m listening indoors or outside.
The portability is a big plus. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and the waterproof/dustproof design gives me peace of mind when using it outdoors or near water. The battery life is solid, and it connects effortlessly to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth depending on where I am.
Setup was simple and fast using the Sonos app, and it integrates perfectly with the rest of my Sonos speakers. It’s truly a “grab-and-go” device that still delivers the premium audio Sonos is known for.
Overall, the Sonos Roam 2 has exceeded my expectations in sound quality, durability, and convenience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a high-quality portable speaker. The Best Buy Frisco team made the purchase quick and easy, as always.

This product is ok. It's nice that it plays well with our other Sonos speakers and app, however given that I just wanted this as a portable speaker, I think I'd be better off with one of the JBL's. The sounds isn't very loud, but it is clear in quieter environments. It's size is good and the design is nice. Battery life is pretty solid, as well, and can use plugged in. Decent for the price and if you already have Sonos equipment, a good option.
It sounds like you’re experiencing a significant issue with the Sonos Roam 2. Here’s what you can try to resolve the problem:
Ensure Charging: Confirm that the Roam 2 is properly connected to a power source using the provided USB-C cable and adapter. Sometimes, a faulty cable or adapter can prevent charging.
Check Charging Indicators: Look for any charging indicator lights. If there’s no light, try a different USB-C cable and power adapter to see if the issue persists.
Reset the Roam 2: Even though you've tried resetting, make sure you're following the correct procedure. For most Sonos devices, you hold down the power button for about 10 seconds until the LED light flashes orange and white, then release.
Check for Firmware Updates: Sometimes, firmware updates can address bugs. Ensure that the Sonos app is up-to-date and check for any available updates for your Roam 2.
Try a Different Power Source: Plug the charger into a different outlet or use a different USB power source to rule out any issues with the power source itself.
Contact Sonos Support: If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, contacting Sonos customer support is the next best step. They can offer more specific troubleshooting or arrange for a repair or replacement if the device is defective.
If you're still having trouble or if there's a known issue with the Roam 2 that Sonos is addressing, our support team should be able to provide the most current information. You can learn more at support.sonos.com.
