Compared to the Bose headphones these are a very close comparison. Best thing is the option to turn on and off the noise cancelling.

They sound good but they do not get load enough. The controls are touchy and they are not very comfortable, too tight. Returned and bought the Bose 35's.

I really liked the options this headset provides. The ability to hear what is going on around you while still on headset is really cool.

Has great sound. Noise cancellation. And touch controls are a pure joy. Bought this over Bose QC35

After doing my research on these headphones and the Bose 35 and reading reviews from other customers, I am very happy with these headphones.

I use these when mowing the lawn and can just hear a faint hum from the mower. Also great on an airplane to drown out all noise.

I am very pleased with these headphones. I compared these to the Bose and after careful consideration decided on these. Very glad I did.

The un boxing experience of this headphone is pretty good. Once you open the case you were greeted with a leather shoe smell. The pairing of the headphone to an I phone is easy. The touch command is easy to remember and it has a simple picture instruction in the box. The ANC of this headphone is very close to Bose QC35. The sounds of this headphone is more exciting to QC35. The microphone quality on call is the worst out of all my headphones. Overall I think this headphone is ok. It is just a headphone with gimmicky features with a horrible microphone quality.

The sound when turned up is excellent IMO. Crystal clear highs, forward mids and full bass without overpowering other frequencies. My only gripe is that it sounds flat and dull when not listening at "exciting levels." Also, SQ depends on the device that it's paired to it. For example, the SQ sounds worse on my Surface Pro 3 due to supporting only standard SBC, but is incredible on my iPhone 6S (AAC) and aptX enabled tablets.

I WAS ORIGINALLY GOING WITH THE BOSE HEADPHONES, HOWEVER A SALESMAN AT THE STORE DID A SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON WITH ME AND AS CLOSE AS THEY WERE THE SONY FELT A LITTLE BETTER OVERALL. GOOD PURCHASE

Let me start off by saying that these headphones are awesome! I am I guess you would say a headphone fan. I have several pair. From these great cans to Bose QC 35's , Sony B950BT's, JBL 700 Elite's......so I have a few. My 1000X's are by far my favorite. These to me are in the sweet spot. They are excellent in all levels of listening. Great for all types of music. I love them and I think you will too. Noise cancelling is ok and to me the QC 35"s win in that category IMHO. But don't sleep on the Sony's they get the job done!

These were my first pair of noise canceling headphones. Very happy with performance and the other features and awesome battery life.

After listening to different brands available, I found the Sony was the best product for what I needed. Easy to use and comfortable.

Sony - 1000x Over-the-ear Wireless Hi-res Headphones are great. They are comfortable to wear, even for hours. These are BT headphones but you can plug in also if you demand the very highest sound quality. I found the BT connection to be excellent as was the sound quality. They will also connect through NFC. The noise canceling ability of these headphones is also excellent. If you need more surrounding ambient sound while listening to music or TV, you can set them to Normal so that you'll hear ambient noise through the built-in microphones. You can also set them to Voice and most ambient sound but voices is cancelled. Of course, by default they will cancel all noise, which gives you the best listening experience. If someone talks to you while the headphones are in the default setting, you can put your right palm against the outside of the right headphone and the noise cancellation is stopped allowing you to hear the conversation without removing the headphones. There are similar finger touch operations you can use on the right headphone to take phone calls, disconnect, raise/lower volume, play/pause, track seek etc. You can use the headphones as they come out of the box for automatic noise cancelling purposes, or go through a short Personal Noise Canceling Optimizer to maximize noise cancellation where they will analyze how the headphones set on your head, whether you wear glasses or earrings etc., for optimum noise cancellation. Sony claims 20 hours of battery life with continuous, wireless music playback, but I haven't proved this claim. I've used them for several hours at a stretch, and it didn't take very long to charge them afterward. I suspect Sony's battery life claim is probably accurate. You do have to charge them through a USB connection from you computer. I would have given a 5-star rating but for two things: you may think this is picky, but the headphones while not heavy are not light either. They feel substantial and have some weight. They felt fine on me, but my wife who is smaller than me felt the headphones were just a touch heavy on her head. Part of that may have been that she's not used to using headphones for any reason. The other item is the instructions are not written but rather given in sequences of drawings (good drawings) to explain how to do this or that. I figured things out without too much difficulty, but a little written instruction along with some of the drawings would have been perfect.

Everyone in the family really likes the noise cancelling headphones and the feature to just hear voices if I need to talk to them.

I have Sennheiser , Bose and an older pair of Sony noise cancelling head phones, the new sonys are much better than all the others.

I have listened to the Bose and Beats. These are hands down a phenomenal pair of headphones!!!

The noise cancelling with easy controls as well as the solid audio performance made them ideal for the trip I took not too long ago.

Got them for my teenage son. He loves them. Uses them for the gym, gaming, music, etc...

Came into the store to purchase Bose headsets saw this and couldn't pass it up! Glad I went into the store to try them all out.
