Lip Sync Issue and channel jumping

We have no other equipment in-line, just cable direct to TV so before I get slammed, that was not the issue. Tried everything, spoke to Sony "tech".. no joy. Also had issue with remote jumping channels way ahead or behind, like it was possessed.. Had to return TV and swapped for Samsung 4K 8000 series.. much better, no issues.

I was completely amazed when I got this home and set up- I was originally looking at a similar series of a different brand, but when I saw this guy sitting next to it, it blew the other one out of the water... I was concerned because other reviews have stated this model has a lot of problems with edge bleed, but I haven't run in to that. The picture is great! Imagine my surprise when I found out that the 4K settings are limited on your HDMI 1 input- so I switched over to inputs 2 and 3, played in the menu for a few minutes, and my jaw hit the floor again! Sony's processor is able to keep up with the screen size- no jidder, judder, or lag! I'm looking forward to putting many hours on this bad boy!
