I have been using this TV for about two months now, and I absolutely love it. This is my first 4k TV, and the picture is amazing. Setup was also super easy, but it did take a little longer than I expected because this is an Android TV and I had to update the operating system. Other than that, no complaints. It has tons of apps built in and it's easy to install new ones since you have access to a stripped down version of the Play Store. You also have access to all of your Google purchases.

Super thin TV, picture quality is awesome. looks great watching movies and playing PS4. I also got the Sony HT-NT5 sound bar and they work great together. the remote is easy and the TV is fast browsing between apps.

This TV was my second SONY TV purchase from Bestbuy. The first one has such a good picture quality that it was a no brainer for me to stick with SONY for this purchase. I was a Samsung fan previously, but after reviewing the SONY units in person, I am convinced that they are the new leaders. Installing this TV was a breeze. If you are a handyman, then installing this TV on you own should be easy. The TV picture quality is awesome. It is hard to put that into words. Just see for yourself at the store. After installing it, I did not make a single adjustment to the TV picture quality - it is that good! I had considered buying the 800 series model for about $300 less, but am glad I went with the 900 series. Highly recommend this TV.

A very nice TV for the money. A very natural looking picture that doesn't over do it on the colors. Sound is a little better than average. No motion blur that I've seen yet. A pretty straight forward remote ( wish it was backlit). Black levels are good for a non OLED tv. The picture can become a little washed out when sitting on a strong angle. All in all I would recommend this to anyone and after owning a month I certainly can's find anything annoying or frustrating about this unit at all.

I purchased a Sony Chromecast that totally sucked!!! I urge everyone to stay away from those!! The picture on this HDTV is spectacular. The remote is very easy to operate. And, the built in programs are easy to navigate. Just wish there were more component inputs/outputs for some of my older equipment.

I chose this TV over a larger size, same price range. I have historically bought Samsung, but the picture appeared quite a bit better in the store(which it usually does). Still in the "burn in" period. It wow, colors absolutely pop! The preset picture settings are real close, the seamless integration to DirectTv and my sound bar were a pleasant surprise. 1 remote! And it is the TV remote! Great buy!

This is such a great TV for the price. Ascetically it looks great mounted on a wall. It's thin and lacks the power brick that comes with most Sony TV's of this minimal depth. I prefer the Android operating system with Chromecast built in. My kids love the voice search option when they are cruising YouTube kids videos. I also like the remote when compared to other brands that put form over function. All HDMI inputs are 4K ready and do not require digging into the settings menu to enable 4K UHD. HDMI inputs 2 and 3 though do require a setting change if the 4K signal being sent is capable of 60fps 4:4:4 HDR 10. The only thing(s) I do not like about this TV is the partially plastic stand. I like the solid metal stands that have come with previous years model, like the one on my 2016 XBR-55X850D. Also, as noted by professional reviews, the TV appears to be leaning back when used with the stand. However this does not affect picture/viewing and the stand is very stable. It is of no consequence though if the TV is being wall mounted.

I really like this TV. I picked up the 65 inch model and when I got home it was much bigger than I expected. (It's kind of hard to tell the scale when you're in the store.) The picture looks great and the 4K HDR features play quite nicely with my PS4 Pro. Another big reason why I picked this TV over some of the others is because of all the ports. It has 4 HDMI ports that all support 4K and HDR, some other HDR TVs only have support for 1 or 2 ports and not all of them have 4 HDMIs. This TV also has both a dedicated hybrid component/composite port along with a dedicated composite port (albeit, with a $5 3.5mm to composite adapter that I already had lying around), which is great for when I want to hook up a Super Nintendo, NES, Sony Playstation 2, an original Xbox or any of my other classic consoles. It has an ARC on HDMI 3 for people who use HDMI for their home theater speakers and a dedicated fiber optic port, which I use. It has an RF antenna input for OTA, which is something some of the cheaper brands decided to exclude. It also has some USB ports and an Ethernet port for those not content with wifi connections. For people that use Google, this TV uses Google TV for Apps and has a casting feature for people with Androids. I primarily use iOS and my Apple TV, but it seems like a really cool feature that is there. It's probably good enough for most users who want to watch Netflix or Hulu without having to get a dedicated device. Overall, I'm really happy with this TV. I obviously wish it had more HDMI ports for all of my devices, but 4 is probably plenty for most people. Hopefully the next models have more because you can never have enough. In the future I also hope Sony keeps the legacy ports for analog devices, the legacy ports on this TV is a big reason that drew me to Sony.

Had it a little over a month now and I couldn't be happier. Picture is great on all sources and there is very little to no motion blur. Some reviews complain of glare but I haven't seen that issue at all. Some is to be expected and it's better than I had expected. I compared to the next two models up and couldn't justify the price difference for better black levels. If you're on the fence go ahead and get it you won't be disappointed.

The picture quality is insane. The ultra HD 4K, the great refresh rate, and the super saturated colors all make for a fantastic home theatre experience. One of the first videos I tried on the TV was the 4K version of Jungle Book and I couldn't help but be blown away by how crisp and clear the picture is and how deep and rich the black levels are. This is also a smart TV, but I haven't really used any of the smart features or onboard apps as I use a PS4 and an Apple TV exclusively to stream content. The only sub-standard thing about this TV is the speakers, no surprise there. Speakers are always an afterthought on many nice LED TVs, and I'm sure it's because the manufacturers try to boost sales of their after market companion sound systems like a home theatre system or a soundbar. I am using mine with a soundbar through optical audio and everything sounds great now. One thing to watch out for is just because your TV is capable of 4K, it doesn't mean everything will play in 4K. Most streaming services either dont have 4K content or are just starting to post more and more 4K content to their libraries, a la Netflix, so people can take advantage of streaming that content. Then you are also constrained by the device you are streaming with. That device (such as an Apple TV or PS4 or ROKU) must also be capable of streaming 4K content as well, and once you have that perfect marriage of 4K content streaming on a 4K compatible set top box, you're in business. You could also save yourself the headache and use the onboard apps. The content apps are all powered by Android so it's a similar experience if you own an android device.

We purchased this as an open box product. I was a bit skeptical about an open box but hey it was a bit cheaper. Anyway, I am so glad we snagged this deal. The image is just so crisp, clear. So far watched anime, played video games, even tried out the 4k after we purchased the Sony UHD player (which by the way is able to sync to the TV to where a single remote can change settings on either or) .. I am very impressed.. compared to other TV's that were on sale this Black Friday even though they were cheaper, I feel you get more dollars worth with this gem.. the other brands same size cheaper deal less quality in the image.. SO SO HAPPY!
