I’ve been using the Sony a6700 for a few weeks now, and it’s hands down one of the most impressive APS-C mirrorless cameras I’ve tried. The autofocus is lightning fast and incredibly accurate, especially for tracking subjects in motion. Image quality is sharp with great dynamic range, and the colors straight out of the camera are vibrant and natural. The addition of AI-based subject recognition makes a noticeable difference, especially for video work. Speaking of which, the 4K 120fps video is a game changer — smooth, detailed, and perfect for slow-motion footage. I also appreciate the improved ergonomics and the flip-out screen, which makes vlogging or self-shooting much easier. Battery life is solid, the menu system feels more intuitive than older Sony models, and the build quality is rugged yet lightweight. Overall, the a6700 strikes an excellent balance between professional performance and portability — an ideal choice for hybrid shooters and content creators alike.

I purchased the camera online and took delivery at my local Best Buy. While there, I also purchased an on sale camara backpack. Anyway, Best Buy made the purchase process painless, and my local Best Buy Geek Squad rocked my pickup experience. The camara: A6700 with 18mm-135mm lens The camera takes great pictures and videos. I do recommend going through all the settings to get items configured just the way you like them. I watched an online video that guided me through the settings on a video streaming platform. I've had great fun capturing landscapes, portraits, flowers, insects, and whatever else catches my eye while I have the camera on-hand. I really like how small and light it is. It's easy to carry in a small backpack without my shoulders getting sore after carrying it all day. I did connect it (by USB-C) to my laptop and used it for video passthru. It does get hot doing that. It did not complain about overheating after my 1hr meeting. It is possible I missed a setting that might impact heat management. Still, it does what I need it to do. If I find I need a longer recording time, I may purchase a fan cooling attachment. If you don't need a full-frame camera this is the Sony camera to get.

My first ever mirrorless camera. I am very happy with this purchase and I love how well rounded this camera is for video and photography. Compact, lightweight and versatile.. especially impressed with the autofocus and how good the ergonomics is.

I was looking for a camera that was capable of both high quality photo and video to document life as it happens. Upon hours and hours of researching and comparing camera's, I found this one. I have owned Nikon, Canon and now wanted to take a chance on Sony as I have always been intrigued by it. I highly recommend this camera. The functions are easy to understand, and this camera has great tracking and autofocus. I also wanted to try making some short films. In the first week of owning this camera, I made a cooking short film, a prayer short film (Stills included below), pit stop one, and took some self-portraits. Additionally, it is very easy to connect the camera to your phone and shoot remotely as well as transfer photos and videos quickly. The screen flipping all the way out also is a tremendous help when self-recording. If I had to choose all over again, I would choose this camera again.

Absolutely love the Sony A6700! The image quality is stunning, and the autofocus is incredibly fast and accurate. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for both photography and video projects. Definitely a great upgrade for anyone serious about their craft!

Beautiful image quality, cannot compare to other brands, This camera will take a true raw image exactly how you see it with your own eyes. Its not enhanced with vibrance or more exposure like other cameras.

All in all an excellent camera, if you’re deciding where or not to buy it just go for it, great autofocus and an awesome hybrid camera overall, only thing I can see I’d want changed is to include an internal fan but has not overheated on me yet

As a beginner in photography, this is my first mirrorless camera. I really appreciate how easy it is to use; it can definitely be considered user-friendly. Its compact size makes it easy to carry while traveling, so I highly recommend it for anyone who travels frequently.

I’m just starting out in photography and after much research, I decided this camera was the best for the price. I’ve had it for a few months now and have had the opportunity to play around with the settings. I still have much to learn but so far I love this camera! It’s small, easy to carry on hikes, easy to travel with, easy to use overall. 10/10!!!!

It's been more than 10 years since I have been actively involved with photography as a hobby. I wanted to get back into it and this camera is very enjoyable to use. I wanted a solid hybrid camera as I want a camera to take good pictures and to take good videos. That way I only need to carry one device, instead of a video camera and a regular camera. There are so many options on how to set this camera up and to fine tune all aspects of using it. I'm learning a lot about this. I do really like the compact size and grip of this camera. It is well worth the purchase.

I recently purchased this camera for my Morocco trip and am thoroughly impressed! This camera offers exceptional image quality, is easy to use, and has some standout features that make it perfect for both beginners and intermediate photographers. The battery lasts a lot longer than I had expected. This camera needs ultra high speed memory card so make sure you get the right one.
