Actually, she said pick one out, and you can't have it until Christmas. A friend helped me install it in my Chevy Silverado. It was very easy to install. I think, because it is so loaded with features, the instructions can seem overwhelming at first. After some use, it gets easier. I LOVE the hands free option when Bluetoothing to my Galaxy s6. I also LOVE that I can totally control Pandora through my radio. I am extremely happy I chose this awesome Sony stereo! I still can't get over all the features for the price!

Posted .Hello Leila, thank you for your message. You can cancel the demonstration display which appears when the source is off and the clock is displayed./ 1 Press MENU, rotate the control dial to
select [SET DISPLAY], then press it. / 2 Rotate the control dial to select [SET DEMO], then press it. / 3 Rotate the control dial to select [SET DEMO-OFF], then press it. The setting is complete. / 4 Press (back) twice. The display returns to normal reception/play mode. Oscar.

Sounds very good and has features that I wanted, such as USB, aux, Bluetooth, Pandora, siriusxm ready and cd. The settings on the stereo itself are hard to use ,but the Songpal app available for Android makes it easy to adjust settings and tune the stereo.

Skipping CD, Small Buttons, Anemic Sound

However, I can't get a CD (old or new) to play an entire song without skipping at least 3-4 times. It skips while I'm either moving or stopped, which is weird. I've tried multiple CD's and have the same results each time. I've had the radio less than a year, but more than two weeks and so Best Buy isn't willing to help get it fixed, which sucks. The other problem with the radio is the buttons are all tiny and you can easily push two at once, which is frustrating while you're driving. Bluetooth and Sirius are great features for a small radio, but the sound is very anemic, even with the "Mega-Bass" feature engaged, which is why I like playing CDs for a richer sound. That said, all in all it's a cool looking radio, but I wouldn't buy it again even at a discounted rate.

I needed a simple radio for my F350 after the factory radio stopped working. This one was so much more. The blue tooth connection to my phone and hands free feature is as good as any factory car system.

Stopped Working After 2 Weeks

I had this receiver installed by Best Buy and 2 weeks after installation it stopped working entirely. I returned it to the store and purchased an Alpine receiver which is great. Also, be advised the screen on the Sony is almost always impossible to read in sunlight.

The instructions are written in such a convoluted way they are mostly unusable... But my biggest complaint is with the Sony app... Sony forces you to use to use this app all the time... If you don't use the app... You can't use any of the Bluetooth functions... Sony forces you to install their app on your phone and you must launch the app to use the Bluetooth functions... If I had known this before I bought the radio I would have bought another brand... This will be the last Sony product I will ever buy...
