I have very expensive Nikon equipment and decided I was sick of dealing with the giant, heavy lens, tripod, etc. so I bought this Sony recently. I am in Kenya right now and have incredible pictures. The zoom works really well. Highly recommend this camera.

Camera takes beautiful, sharp pictures. It is a lot to learn though on using this camera properly for maximum exposure to all it offers. Download and read the manual, it really helps.

My wife loves the camera...She has a Canon Mark6 II with a 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 lens, but she mostly uses the Sony for her bird photography...She likes the Canon when she's using her tripod, but it's too heavy with the big lens attached for carrying around for hours looking for birds...Her pictures with the Sony really turn out well and get her a lot of great shots with very good quality...The only drawback she's mentioned is that in low light situations it's hard for her to really get the sharp shots she's after...Overall she is really well pleased with her Mother's Day present from our puppy!......

Great pictures and many options. Great for one camera to rule them all and not have to take time switching between lenses. Slightly heavy and bulky but overall fantastic camera and good connectivity with smartphone.

I'm normally a Nikon Girl (still have one) but this Sony is spectacular. I love that it goes to 600 MM, The ziess lens is tack sharp. Just do it!

I got this camera mainly to take pictures of fast moving sprint cars on dirt tracks. It does it well, and does great video also. I also own the original Sony RX10 I it was great also, but the RX10 IV takes it to another level. Still learning things about the camera everytime I use it. Not cheap, but worth it to me.The super fast focus system is a game changer.

I bought this based on alot of reviews that my wife and I read. It was a Christmas present for my wife. She loves it. She's a big bird watcher and she is so glad I spent the extra money for it.

Takes good pics for sure, but if you are used to using a DSLR or mirrorless then you will most likely be disappointed. It just doesn't capture pictures like my DSLR does and I eventually returned this because of that. Zoom is great and it has a ton of high end features but it's just missing that... Something.

Have used only once excellent pictures. Wish viewer on back reversed to protect it from being scratched.

Really good camera with tons of features. My first DLSR, but it’s smart enough to help a newbie yet feature tons of settings for a pro.

My wife has enjoyed the earlier version of this camera (RX10iii) for the past several years. She has appreciated the high quality Zeiss lens, the high resolution, and the ability to move seamlessly from a closeup of a flower bud to the profile of a bird sitting in a distant tree. This new camera adds a dynamic auto focus that is letting her capture birds in flight and improved sharpness, especially when using the telephoto at a distance. She tells me that the arrangement of buttons and controls make the camera easily adaptable to whatever photo-opp comes your way.

Purchased in preparation of a 3 week Alaska trip next summer. Have used it a couple times around our property and am very pleased so far with the functions and quality of the camera & pictures.

Excellent camera - takes amazing pictures. Still new to the camera - but using it over the past couple of weeks - very happy with it.

This is our second purchase of this camera. We take thousands of pictures each year and this is our go to camera now. We no longer have to carry a heavy 600 mm lens that we had to change onto our camera to take distance wildlife shots. IT IS AMAZING. I received one as a gift for our anniversary and loved it so much I got my husband one for Christmas. This will make our vacationing so much easier and we love SONY products,

I am a novice photographer, with little experience....so far this camera has yielded stellar results ...and after I learn more about should just get better & better.......!!
