If I could change one thing though just to make it a bit easier when reaching for the alarm "off" button, it should be separate from the other buttons to make it easier to feel for it when trying to shut off the alarm instead of hitting the "snooze" mode button which is larger and separate from the rest.

I see no reason they couldn't have made the case a little larger to contain a larger, more sound efficient speaker. I wasn't expecting Concert hall sound from a 1" speaker, but with a $50 price tag and the Sony name I certainly expected more.

Small size leaves plenty of room on sink counter. Not great for a bedroom I would think, as the blue LED are bright & there didn't seem to be a way to dim them.

The blue light behind the time is very bright and even when you dim it the light still hurts your eyes if you look at it in the dark. The light on the clock can be turned off though which is the way I have it most of the time.
