I wanted something small and simple because my wants in this area are very simple. The sound seems to be a little distorted at times, but I use the radio anyway. Too bad there was nothing available like this of better quality.

It's small and has decent sound. The time sets automatically and it seems to have a strong receiver. Tuning is digital. A good purchase!

It came with zero instructions. It was automatically set on EST time and I'm Central. The volume at its peak is still minimal when you plug your MP3 into it. I do like the 3 light settings. That's about it.

I have not slept through the alarm, which was happening with my cell phone. I work third shift so the nature sounds have been great for blocking out outside daytime noise.
