Too bright for Nighttime use

Based on the specifications of this Clock Radio, there are three levels of brightness that can be selected by pressing SNOOZE / BRIGHTNESS ( High ( default ), Low, and Off ). We recommend you adjust the Display settings to Low or according to your preferences. I hope this helps, Dave

You may find some sounds less helpful than others. For example, the "ocean" choice has seabird calls, not so great by me. "Underwater" is detectably repetitive; these sounds aren't synthesized but rather looped recordings. "Rain" works anyway. Two alarm times is good. You also get to choose weekday, weekend or both for each.

But this replacement seems to lack a couple of features I liked, such as a timer so it would go off on its own. In addition, the tone qualify is a bit on the tinny side. and not as pleasant a sound. Other than that, it does the job while I'm in the shower and getting ready for work. I still give it 5 stars.
