If the backlight is turned off, the digital face is unreadable unless you are at eye level with the clock. This is true during daylight hours, as well. The dual alarm function is nice, but the sound quality is only adequate. For the price, it is not really a great deal.

It works great and takes up little space on the night table. Also, having a temp reading is very handy. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, when I got it home and tried it, the sounds are extremely tinny and artificial. Seems to be a short loop back that plays over and over and over. Drives me nuts. Clock is okay, but the speaker sounds like an old am portable radio. I guess it depends on your needs.

I love the weekly and weekend separate auto alarm feature, set it once and you're done. I also love the lithium battery installed, you can shut off the power and don't loose the settings.
