Even though the radio has a small footprint, you would think that with today's technology, they could make it better. I would return it if I could. Your store recommended it as a SONY over the other brands, which weren't familiar to me. Big mistake

The A.M. antenna wires are too much and get in the way of easy listening and it has a sloppy appearance because of them. The wires have to be adjusted often to get a somewhat clear sound. The sound on my old SONY, without the antenna was much better.
