My South Carolina clock radio is totally intuitive when I need to change the wake up time, takes 10-15 seconds.The Sony I bought for my Michigan wake up has a twelve page instruction booklet and you need to study it deeply to do ANYTHING with this piece of ****. Why would best buy sell this. Fifty dollars thrown away.

Tried to set the alarm feature, gave up after multiple tries. used my cell phone instead.

The clock was not worth even discussing. Difficult to set the clock, the alarm and the light level. I am considering putting this one aside and bringing back my old alarm clock. I would not recommend this to anyone.

It takes too much time to set. . . It's really kind of a pain.

I'm a big fan of Sony products. Until I bought this clock. It has some cool features, but the sound is GARBAGE. Horrible product for the price. I took it back and bought an Insignia. What happened Sony? You let me down.

This alarm clock is the worst. The numbers are too small and dim to see the time, but the alarm, it's so loud you will jump out of bed, if that's the kind of thing you like. I took it right back.

The sound quality was dreadful, as if it was coming through a paper cup. Even on the "dim" setting, the display was so bright it was like having a flashlight shined in my face all night. I returned it.

I have purchased a lot of Sony products in my life. But this thing is just awful. The buzzer is so low at the highest volume it could take someone up if they were the lightest of sleepers.

Alarm setting cannot be changes. It alarms at 6 and 12 am and pm when radio is turned off. Attempted to set alarm ar 7 am and went off at 6 am. When alarm sounds it sets to aloud volume.

bought for my sad on advice of sales person at Best Buy. sound was awful. Cheap and still a waste of money

Good tuner, but, horrible sound! I get better sound from my $5.00 portable transistor radio. Took it back. The return process was great!

Too much bright even in the "low mode". Easy way to set alarm and time.

This device is exactly what I wanted: An AM/FM clock radio with dual alarms, digital radio tuning & presets, and an AUX input. It costs a bit more than I'd expected to pay but I'm very happy with it. I'm not sure why this device has gotten such mixed reviews--I think that it's very nearly perfect. Having used the device now, it appears that some reviewers might not fully understand the degree of flexibility the device offers. My own list of 'Pros,' beyond those mentioned above, include the ability to very easily turn the illuminated display off completely if total darkness is desired (the snooze button is also the display illumination toggle--very easy to use). I also really like the ease of tuning in a radio station with excellent reception and the availability of five station preset buttons (the tuner is digital). I also like the number of customized options available when setting the dual alarms (each alarm can be set for weekday, weekends, or every day, and each alarm can also have a different volume level & sound source--including different radio stations--if desired). Very nice. As for the 'Cons,' if I were re-designing this unit, I'd only make two changes: I'd make the device a bit larger with a larger clock display (it's a bit difficult to read the clock from across a room). Also, I'd increase the maximum volume & sound quality a bit (this device is useful for waking, but not very useful as a boom box). Overall, I'm very impressed with this device and very glad that I found it.

I really wanted to keep the Dream Machine as it has many features that I could use. However, the back light is too bright at night even on low. The only way I could get to sleep was to turn the light off but that defeats the purpose of being able to see the time. If you are going to use it in a room that doesn't need to be dark then this clock radio is perfect.

This is a very good compact clock radio. It takes up very little room yet the radio and the nature sounds are very clear. I have it on chest of drawers above chest height. This makes it difficult to do something as simple a turning on the radio. All the buttons are the same size so you can't go by feel as I did with my old clock radio. Also note this uses a wall wart. Still a very good compact clock radio with a few minor drawbacks.

We got this clock as a gift and were happy with the automatic time setting, nature sounds, and the temperature sensor. After one night of use we were disappointed with the backlighted display. It was too bright even on the lowest setting. The blue overpowered the digital display and it was very hard to see without getting closer to the clock. Also the volume of the clock on the loud setting wasn't very loud compared to other clocks we have had in the past. For what we found out about the cost of this clock we were glad it was a gift and felt sorry for our friend buying it for us.

Portable, easy to use, a very good buy at this price. Love the temperature measuring feature & the various alarm sounds.

This clock radio has a number of neat features, but it was difficult to set up and the illustration on the box indicated it displayed the time in military time; a 24 hr clock, however it does not. The buttons on the clock are very difficult to differentiate by feel; they look great, but are very hard to use in the dark. I like the fact that you can dim the display and that it measures the room temperature. Not a bad item for the money.
