It is very good for remote games. I bought it too cheap I still have a remote connection to the Horizon. I would like to introduce my friends.

This is a great deal for what is included. I purchased this expecting the worse as the price was too good to be true, expecting that the controller may not work with my PlayStation 4 console and would only work with the wireless game pad reciever on a computer, or that the controller was the old DualShock 4 model (CUH-ZCT1) but was surprised to find out it works perfectly fine and that it does in fact come with the brand new DualShock 4 controller (CUH-ZCT2). Controller works perfectly fine wired and wireless with the PlayStation 4 console and as expected, is a brand new controller and not a pre-owned one. Unfortunately though this did not come with the controllers charging USB cable but for this deal it's not a huge problem and anyone that doesn't already own one can buy one or simply use an Android phone charger. But I would definitely recommend this product as it's a great deal overall.

I bought this kit to play games on my laptop. Since I am mainly playing sort of first person games and FIFA, I am used to playing on the PS4 and not as much with a keyboard and mouse. Overall I got this working great on my laptop and have not had any trouble with my Steam games. I also installed DS4windows to ensure I could play with games that sometimes don't support the PS4 controller.

Took me a minute to get everything set up, but it was easy, plug adapter into computer, push the whole unit towards your computer and hold until the light blinks rapidly meaning sync mode has been activated. Then press and hold the PS button and the Share button on the controller, the light will blink and then turn solid and when it does your synced. Big Picture mode on steam works just fine with it and recognizes it as a dualshock. Couldn't attest the signal strength because I'm right next to my tower when I'm using it. For what I bought it for I am very pleased with the purchase. Not to mention it was cheaper to buy the adapter with the controller that it would be to buy a controller by itself.

I bought this combo pack since it was on sale for $40 (normally $70). The controller is great, however the adapter is finicky when connecting on PC. I had to use DS4 WINDOWS (because Sony doesn't offer their own native drivers yet, unlike xbox), and it picked up the adapter as wireless USB. Most of the time, it doesn't pair up correctly and switches to a default Playstation 4 profile, so you'll have to create your own on DS4Windows (or equivalent controller mapper software). From there, the controller can be recognized as an Xbox controller (xinput) or a generic mapped controller (Directinput). Most games support the former, while some support the latter. Steam supports configuration for the controller, if you don't want to use an input mapping software, though it's in beta. Also, connectivity is as light as a piece of paper. Any interference between the adapter and the controller, such as your phone or WiFi device, will increase latency. You can use Bluetooth to connect the controller without the adapter, though you'll lose the wireless audio feature (which also cuts out every few minutes or so). Battery life is surprisingly good. For 1-3 hour bursts everyday for a week, the battery will go down to 10-15%. You charge it through micro USB (which somehow Sony sells their own separately) using your phone cable, or with their charging station. Overall, if you want to use this controller wirelessly, you're better off using Bluetooth, unless you want wireless audio. Track pad feels alright , though be noted you have to press on it for clicks instead on tapping it. Other than frequent first-time pairing problems with the Sony adapter, the controller is great, and has a track pad for mouse input!

This is a bundle that includes both a PS4 controller and a USB receiver that allows you to use the controller on a computer. I got the latest model of controller in my bundle (CUH-ZCT2, the one with the light bar on the touchpad). It's a genuine PS4 controller so it's excellent (there are tons of reviews out there for that already). The USB receiver works well, at least it did for me. Windows 10 recognized it right away and I didn't have to lift a finger for it to find the drivers. Pairing it with the controller is a little odd though. you have to push the USB stick in until it flashes and then you have to hold the PS4 controller PS button down for a few seconds until it flashes and syncs up. After that it works just like it does on the PS4. I didn't run into any lag or problems. The only thing is there is no way to tell how much controller battery you have until it suddenly dies. It works great in Steam as long as you set it up with Steam first. It's nice that for Steam games you don't have to use a 3rd party emulator/button mapper. And it seems that if the game supports the XBox 360 controller (I have a wired one) it supports the PS4 controller through Steam. Although, I only have a few games so I wasn't able to extensively test it. I bought this bundle for the controller to use with my PS4 because I was able to get it on sale for less than regular controllers sell for on sale. But now I can use all of the my PS4 controllers with my Steam games if I want wireless.

Saw this tucked away in the corner at my local Best Buy without a price. Got a price check and this was cheaper than a controller by itself. This even came with the new style controller where there's a light at the top of the touch pad. Set up on the computer is easy, just need a decent local WIFI signal and download a small program to get things going. The only thing I don't like is that if you hit the PS button and have Steam installed on your computer, it will start the Steam program. I haven't tried playing any games on Steam with it however, so not sure if it works or not.

Great deal... comes with a dual shock 4 (new version) and usb wireless adapter for pc. Works great on the computer if you download some 3rd party software.

I picked this bundle up when it was on sale for $39.99. I love the new light bar at the top of the controller and I love the fact that some of the buttons are not so glossy and slippery. The included usb wireless adapter works as attended for games on my Windows 10 laptop. I highly recommend this bundle.

I, like many others, have experienced issues with the original DS4 over time. Specifically, the R2 triggers over time will fail by the spring not properly returning the trigger back to its proper position. This can make games like FPS’s highly annoying to play as it will sometimes result into multiple inputs. However, in this package the controller is somewhat redesigned. The plastics used seem much sturdier on all components including even the analogue sticks. It keeps the comfortable design of the original DS4 but is now much sturdier. Also, connecting the controller to a PC is extremely simple. On first attempt, I just plugged in the dongle, then pressed the “PS” button on the DS4 and it connected to the PC. Super simple.

I initially just wanted a new controller to use for PC gaming, but this was on sale went with this bundle. I was amazed at how smooth the remote play is since my PS4 or TV isn't even connected to the PC. And the controller by itself can connect via Bluetooth without problems.

I like having everything in one package so I don't gofumbling around for things later, or have to buy multiple items to accomplish one task. The DualShock 4 performs well as always, and the USB dongle was super easy to implement - just plugged it in and was good to go.

First Off I got it on Black friday, same price as the controller but comes with the new dongle adapter. Also its the new DS4 control. Yes it works with PC games I use it to play rocket league on steam wireless and it's was just plugged in, paired, and good to go. I play most of my games on the PC but also play plenty of games on the PS4. If this sentence describes you, this package is probably a great deal for you if you don't have Bluetooth in your PC. The adapter allows you to connect the controller to play games on the PC and you also have an extra controller for when you have friends over on your PS4.

The one big difference is the wifi stick that comes with it vs just a controller. It really helps out when you wanna get a good connection with your pc unless you are using a wire. Lag time is reduce after doing some research online. If you don't want to deal with some tweeking every time you wanna use it I suggest getting a wired controller. But I really do enjoy it. Better than direct connecting to your pc via Bluetooth.

it was on sale cheaper than buying the ps4 dualshock controller so yea it was a deal and works great this is the ver 2 dualshock 4 which feels better less slipping

The controller is great, actually bought it to replace the main PS4 controller I use, and it feels better than the first generation controller I had been using before. The wireless adapter works fine for any ps4 controller, so I have no complaints, but if you're going to use remote play to the best of its ability, I'd suggest making sure that at least your ps4 is wired, if not also your desktop/laptop.

Got this since I want to have a second controller and want to use my PC as a second screen, since it also comes with the wireless adapter, no need for wires.

Im seeing this on clearance for as low as $25, going like hot cakes, great price for the DS4 only, and comes with wireless dongle to use on PC or Mac
