This product is not spectacular, but not bad either. It does the job if you're wanting to broadcast gameplay with your face on the screen, however it looks a little grainy. I'm not well versed in streaming but from clips that I have seen there are cameras that produce a better quality image for the viewer. It's easy to use, basically plug and play, however it only works with a specific usb port in the back of the PS5. That said, at this price point it's definitely a good starter camera.

I like the design of the HD camera. It has the same aesthetics as the console, and it's size is very compact. My only gripe is that there isn't much to do with it, unless you stream your gamplay live. No other function to the camera, not even facial recognition to log on to your PS5. Here's hoping there is more functionality in the near future. Also, when you are using it, make sure the lighting in the room is bright. Otherwise the video capture is very grainy.

Just a normal PlayStation webcam, bought it in 2022 and it's still working perfectly fine. It only works for the PS5 tho. 1080p quality as well.

The best camera I’ve used so far. This camera means so much to me because as soon as I bought it I started streaming games and it’s been wonderful since. I’ve recommended it to many friends and have had nothing but good come when I use the camera

I enjoy this camera for my PS5 (as this was all I could use because other cameras could not be supported by the PS5 directly nor could I connect them to my MacBook and utilize). I ended up buying a ring light to use behind it and the quality improved even more. If you are gaming on a Ps5 and need something I suggest. I do wish it was easier to hide the camera instead of having to hit the home button, as well as I wish there was an option to go full cam like the streamers can.

Great camera. Captures quality video. Does not work well in the dark but then again what camera really does. Love the different types of settings you can choose when streaming, such as the cutouts, zoom-ins, and position on the screen. The only thing I REALLY don't like about streaming on the PS5 is that you can't hide your camera while live streaming. Certain games is easier than others to leave it there while others could be quite annoying to see your own face all day. The bottom can be hinged open to allow your camera to sit on your tv or anything else if you don't want it to stand how it is in the picture. All in all a great buy though.

Been streaming with this for a year now and have no complaints. Works even outside of ps5 streaming when I use OBS so that’s nice

The camera does work as advertised, as a camera intended for streaming your face while playing gameplay. However, I feel it should be emphasized more that you can't use it while screen-sharing with friends or talking via call. I hope one day Sony will let people use it through their Discord integration.
