Customers love the PlayStation Plus 3-Month Membership for its great value, easy-to-use cards, and the free games it offers every month. They appreciate the discounts on games and other content available on PSN, as well as the security of using a card rather than storing their credit card information on a server. However, some customers find the price to be a bit expensive, especially when compared to the annual subscription.

Being a member of Playstation Plus subscription service is great value for your money. In addition to having online functionality, you are also receiving both 2-6 free games (PS4, PS3, PS Vita) that are free to play as long as you remain a member and discounts on sales, as well as free themes and avatars as long as you search for them. The value is certainly there, occasionally they even give members full AAA Titles (normally $20-$60 titles). This month (Jan. 2016), we receive Grim Fandango which is a $14.99 title itself, with a free theme. You're paying $2.66 - $7 a month, but the value in the free games alone counteracts the monthly and annual fees.

My initial feeling was disappointment when learning that PS4 will require a PS Plus membership to access the multiplayer servers. I am disappointed no longer... For any avid gamer, the PS Plus membership is a necessity. The discounts are great. The stable servers are a pleasure. But it is the online storage capabilities that really solidified the benefits for me. Being able to upload my saved game data to cloud storage and then continue where I left off from another system is such a relief for me as a travelling gamer. Not to be outdone, the discounts to which I referred earlier are something to celebrate. There are new deals every week along with 2 free games every month. The discounts you recieve for being a member end up saving you money throughout the year. So, from early disappointment to absolute elation, I can't recommend the PS Plus membership enough.

Sony's PlayStation plus subscription has been one of the best investments I have made. The free games you get will total well above the amount spent on the membership. You receive 2-3 free games each month per console (PS4, PS3, PS Vita), and if, like me, you have all three, the amount of games you receive is overwhelming. I don't even have enough time to play all the games that I get, not that I can complain. The $50 a year payment (or $18 every 3 months in this case) is a steal. And for those who can't afford the $50 re-up, these 3 month alternatives are good to get you through til the next time

PS Plus is a pretty amazing deal because you can download two pre-selected games for free each month. These games are yours to keep as long as you maintain your PS Plus membership. Even better, there are different games selected for PS4 and PS3, so if you have both systems, you get four free games each month. The three months is a bit more expensive than buying a full year, but usually part of deals (such as $5 three month when buying a game). Keep an eye out for those deals as the savings really add up!

They have a lot of oldies that are free to the PlayStation Plus users which is cool, i can let the kids try out the Sonic games and it doesn't cost extra. They also have many demos that come to PlayStation plus first. I have also noticed some add-ons that i would normally have to purchase i can get free with this. I subscribed for a year and i only imagine it is going to get better. It has already paid for itself for me, just can't wait for some more content to come with it

As a product of the Nintendo generation the whole idea of online gaming/social aspects was very unfamiliar to me. However I can say that having purchased PS Plus I'm really glad I did. For one, I'm an avid Destiny player and there is quite a bit of crucial content you NEED to have PS plus for to access. You can also play free games each month, quality titles at that. In addition, the service also enables a decent discount on downloadable titles/content.

I purchased the Playstation Plus 3 month membership card at my local BB for my son to get his new Star Wars Battlefront PS4 up and running. It really is a good value. You get free games every month, cloud storage, and the ability to play online multiplayer games with your friends. Needless to say when he found this in his stocking hung by the chimney with care, he was ecstatic! Thank you BB for helping make his Christmas the best yet! A+

If you enjoy online gaming and / or enjoy getting a few random games each month, PlayStation Plus is a worthwhile product. The 3 month card is good for a decent gift to a gamer friend or for someone who is just getting started with a PS4 and isn't sure if they want to use PS+ or not. If you are a die hard online player, you should get the 12 month card because it is a better deal, but the 3 month card is definitely worth it.

If you have a Playstation 4, this type of purchase is a no brainer. Easy to buy. Easy to activate. Chose the 3 month card since it obviously doesn't need as much up front funds. If the kids don't tire of the games and playing online, I'll just buy another. I find that it's easier with younger kids to not commit to a full year since they tend to change interests often.

I don't like being forced to pay for online play. Free online was such a big drawing point on PS2 and PS3. So it's a must-purchase for anyone that players multiplayer these days but at least the bonuses are decent. Discounts on digital games in addition to the free PS Plus game of the month is pretty cool.

PS Plus gives you two free games a month. Most of the free games are good. The only catch is that you can't keep the games when you cancel the membership. I really like the discounts that you get for games. Unlike the free games, you get to keep those games when your membership expires.

Have A PS4? PS+ A Must!

Having a PS+ membership is a must when you have a PS4. Not because you need one to play online but because you just can't beat what you get in return. I own a PS3 as well so having the membership not only gives me free games on my PS4 but also on my PS3 and if you have a Vita too then you get free games on there as well. It's really a no brainer. You also get discounted prices on games in the PSS.
This membership literally pays for itself with the first free game you download. Just the month of November I got 2 free games on PS4 and 2 free games on PS3. Sure, some months are better than others but it's still great to have. The only thing I do wrong is buying 3 months at a time instead of the year. With PS3 I would say do 3 months at a time but with PS4 just buy the year because you're going to buy it anyway you know?
Overall PS+ is great to have and I recommend it to anyone who has a PS4 or even a PS4 or vita or all 3.

Actually, for some games like Destiny, that ride heavily on their social aspect, PS+ is a requirement for THE experience. Reasonable priced, and with ton of free games released every month for its members, this is an essential component of the Playstation experience.

I have the XBOX1 and PS4 and have to say the price for PSN is less and I feel that you get more BANG for your buck then XBOX live. You have to have to play online so don't feel bad about paying for it. With the free games you get it almost pays for itself.

Some games require the plus to play online, but what makes it way better (and worth your money) is that you get free games. Not only for the ps4 but also for the ps3 and ps vita. Every first tuesday of every month. One subscription spans all consoles you own.
