In my opinion, this device is probably best suited for people who have already been in Sony's Playstation ecosystem for a while and may have a digital library built up already. Plenty of Vita games make the transistion to the big screen worthwhile as well, though not 100% of titles are compatible. There are better places to go to get started with Playstation.

I understand the use, however, there biggest games don't work on here. Uncharted, Tearaway, and many more.

The concept is great but the device itself is terrible. Maybe Sony will get it right with the next one.

I had high expectations for the PS TV when I pre-ordered it two months ago. I wanted it for remote play with my PS4 and to stream movies and shows to the non-smart TV in my bedroom. The lack of Netflix is terribly disappointing. The remote play works relatively well with only an occasional lag or skip. Without Netflix, however, I won't use this as much as I had planned.

I bought this on sale so I could play PS4 in my office. I was disappointed that I still needed to buy a Vita memory card to play Vita games, but it has worked out when others want to use the main TV. Convenient.

Got this for my PS4 to stream to another TV. Just couldn't get pass the lagging. Very pixelated on a 32tv. Not looking for it to be PS4 sharp but they could have done better. At 720p the the old ps vita look makes it feel like they just put a ps vita inside the box. Well I said all that to say I took it back. No Netflix or any streaming app. Maybe if sony make a playstation TV 2 I'll get it. Because it's a vita TV !! "Don't buy" sorry Sony ! Also I had to buy anther router to make the ps4 stream work and it still wasn't to my liking. Wifi is not recommended and it was really bad using wifi. Hope it works if you give it a try

I'm an avid Playstation fan but this is disappointing. Poor picture quality, remote play is slow and lags when playing game online. (Unplayable) And come on does not support Netflix. Great idea but needs to be better to make it worth the price. This thing should be free.

4 stars once the powers that be allow youtube and other apps to run. Reasonable purchase.

Had trouble connecting the my ps4....and can't play most of my Vita games

For those who wants to be able to use PS4 in another room at times, this is a great gizmo.

It's kind of a waste of money. Streaming games from my ps4 almost made me sick. Very choppy and I have a pretty fast wifi service. wasn't impressed with the system. I'll just continue to go upstairs and play my ps4.

Received this free with my PS4 bundle. Only used it twice for remote play and the experience has been subpar. It may be that my internet is slow, but it was very difficult to remote play on my other tv. The connection was not smooth and would disconnect very easily. Not sure of another reason to use this. Glad it was free...

This is a cool toy but if not by a router it needs a wifi booster to really work.

This product was not worth buying. The streaming of games from ps4 didn't work properly even when set up next to my wireless modem. There is a severe delay between button and gameplay reaction. I also tried hooking the product directly to the modem. Still no improvement. I took the product back.

The Playstation TV has some good potential, but still has a little ways to go. Not all of the apps that works on the Vita actually work on the Playstation TV. I've also had a bit of trouble using my account on my PS3/PS4/Vita and the Playstation TV. Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon.

I use this PSTV to stream games from my PS4 in the living room to the PSTV in the office and it hasn't disappointed.

dont buy unless u have an strong internet connection

If your looking for a device that can stream movies or TV, this is not the right choice, if your looking for a device to play vita/Playstation games and stream your pS4 to any room at home... Well look elsewhere. This device seems too new and highly not optimized.

I managed to get this console on sale. It is an okay alternative to buying a Vita, but I feel it lacks accessibility. I have played a few games using it and they have all run well, but support for the PSTV feels lacking.
