Customers are saying

Customers find value in the PlayStation VR Bundle Five-Game Pack's immersive VR experience and the included game selection. Many appreciate the ease of setup and the affordable price, especially when purchased on sale. However, some users note that the resolution could be better and that additional controllers may be needed for optimal gameplay. The potential for motion sickness is also a concern raised by a few customers.

So I don't have a lot of prior experience with VR, but after having played the PSVR at a friend's months ago decided to go all in and grab this bundle. I did get a little motion sickness from playing several of the games, but not bad. And it wasn't until I tried playing Skyrim VR in the traditional sense that I got really nauseous. Still after following some steps to overcome this like playing in short sessions and placing a fan in front of me while playing things are much better than they were. All around VR and the PSVR takes getting used to. The 900p resolution screen is a little blurry compared to 4K or even 1080p but the level of immersion is much better. Even trying other games like WipeOut it adds a new level of immersion that makes gaming experiences unique. If you haven't tried VR, it's worth testing at friends first, but any temporary discomfort can be overcome and the rewards are great.

Great Entry Level Virtual Reality Package for PS4

If you already own just a PS4 then this headset is all you need. It comes with camera and VR headset and five full games. We already had a PS4 motion controller, its optional with most VR games like Skyrim. You can enjoy these VR games sitting down, the camera detects the lights on the headset and your controller, so you do need to move your arms a little sometimes. You can also add motion controllers and stand up, it's nice having the play options. Some of the main differences between PSVR and the more expensive competitors is that the VR headset is wired to a box that is attached to your PS4, so if you want a wireless VR experience be prepared to drop over a grand or more on a third generation VR setup. The immersion is remarkable, and similar to real life fine details are observable within an arms length and like in Skyrim 'distant' locations appear blurry, but interestingly after couple hours of play your brain adapts. The immersion transition is more difficult for people used to watching 4k TVs versus those with 720p I've noticed. Note that VR games made for PSVR have gorgeous high definition graphics, and those come in a preview disc included.

I got this package while it was on sale. It comes with a strong selection of games. The VR experience is a double edge sword. What you lose in quality of resolution you gain in the experience of being inside the games you play. Best advice is to get to know the options and settings.

I was expecting this system to be overrated, but was pleasantly surprised after a single use. The VR experience is super cool from the 40 year old adult to my youngest 5 year old. All of my kids love it, and our guests all end up loving it as well. It is even fun to watch the person with the headset on. I bought this on a Christmas sale, making it an even bigger bargain. The games that come with this are loads of fun.

It was unbelievable experience for me with the VR. I played Ace Combat in VR. I never thought I would fly a military jet in my life. I took F/A-18F Super Hornet from the flight deck and landed it in the same aircraft carrier. Apart from that Astro bot was brilliant. One thing i dont like about the VR is, it has too much of wires. I wish they would have designed it wireless.

Really immersive. Even after hours of this thing on your head it doesn't hurt. Family from 8-70 yrs old have used this and enjoyed it. Wish it were wireless like our Oculus but this has it's place in our library as well. Love it

Just remember that you miss out on certain things by not having psMove controllers. Golf is weird with a controller even though I got it to work better by using the controller. The psVR is not as high def as you may assume. It’s downgraded because of the quality of the helmet. Whereas a game may be 1080p on your tv it may look 720p with the helmet on and you’ll notice quality right away.

I had high hopes, and so far, Sony VR has exceeded those tremendously. Completely immersive, easy setup, and a great variety of included games and demos. This has totally reinvigorated my love for video games.

Reluctant to jump on the VR bandwagon. I held out on buying the PlayStation VR even though I’m an OG Playstationeer. My 15 year old daughter wanted the VR for Christmas to play Beat Saber, so I purchased this bundle while it was on sale and purchased Beat Saber separately. Bottom line: I’m sorry we waited so long to get it. It wasn’t as difficult to hook up as I had thought it might be and, once it was going, we’ve all had a blast with it ever since. It’s a top notch product, super value, and a great way to ease into VR. BTW, I suffer from severe motion sickness but haven’t experienced any sickness while using this as of yet. :-)

Bought this Thanksgiving as a replacement for sons he had before our new puppy ate it. The price was fantastic!! Compared to the earlier one we bought, not only did we get more for the money we saved a couple 100 dollars. The headset is newer and more fun. The games are perfect and he has tremendous fun with it. The older headset just sat on the head where this one has a back fitting that adjusts to your head size. But would recommended it not only does it keep him moving he has the BEST time on it.

I Was very interested in trying our VR, and while it is a unique gaming experience, it gave me serious stomach problems after the first three sessions. My friends who tried it had headaches and stomach pains as well after trying it for only half an hour each. I have been using it every so often and now feel fine after playing, but it still feels a bit off. I was looking forward to Skyrim, but the menus are a nightmare to navigate. Everybody Golf is far too basic. PlayStation Worlds is enjoyable and a good starting point. Astro Bot is truly the game made for VR though and so much fun. Resident Evil 7 is fun as well, but stick to using a regular controller. Overall I like it, but I really don't think this is a must own for anyone, no matter how much you enjoy games.

I was hesitant on getting a VR system since I didn’t see any games I thought were worth playing in VR. I really enjoyed the resident evil and blood and truth games. I tried a few of the demo games which were ok. However I do enjoy Astro Bot. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and I recently found out you can use the headset to watch movies on Hulu in 3D. I haven’t tried it yet but will leave a review once I do.

Price was great and shipping was quick. Purchased this for my son because he wanted a vr set. Compared to other vr sets this one is relatively inexpensive but still good quality. Plenty of games to choose from. Only downside is the rubber shield that covers your eyes can be pulled off easily if not careful when the kids are removing the headset.

This unit is so much fun. I gave it 3 stars cause visually I expected more it's not HD and you can tell. So that was 1 of the stars. With the price I assumed it was HD my mistake. But otherwise the unit is lots of fun .The other negative side to why I took another star away is it does not come with the VR wands most games needs to be able to play which is sold separately so needless to say the price was to much being that it is not a Complete unit.
