The best thing PS did for the Dual Sense Edge controller!! At times the analog sticks have drift & now you no longer need to replace a controller! Just change the module! I play a lot of COD & other 1 player games that cause drift after consistent gameplay and replacing the analog stick is really the best!

It's fantastic and cheap to be able to replace modules at any time when drift happens. It helps the stick modules are super easy to remove and input into the controller.

I’d give Sony’s PlayStation stick module a solid 4/5 overall. The biggest win is how it makes controller maintenance feel way less like a “replace the whole thing” situation and more like a quick, practical fix. Swapping a drifting stick is straightforward, and it’s genuinely satisfying knowing you can get your controller feeling fresh again without tossing the entire unit. It also feels like Sony finally acknowledged the reality of heavy use—especially for games that are brutal on sticks. That said, it’s not a perfect victory lap. The price is the main sticking point: even though it’s cheaper than buying a whole new controller, it still feels a bit steep for what is essentially a wear item. I also wish availability and stocking were more consistent, because a modular repair idea only really shines when the replacement parts are easy to grab. And while the swap is simple, it’s still a little annoying that this kind of “planned wear” is something players have to deal with at all—Sony could be doing more on the durability front so replacements aren’t needed as often. In the end, it’s a great step in the right direction: convenient, cleaner than full replacements, and a real quality-of-life upgrade for people who actually put hours into their controllers. But between the cost and the fact that it feels like a solution to a problem that shouldn’t be so common, it lands at 4 stars—recommended, just not without reservations.

Only giving 4 stars simply because I haven’t used them yet. Oddly I bought these for the wrong controller but then purchased a new controller that I can use them in if I ever get the stick drift. Value for the money is great and ease of changing them is amazing. So happy with the cost but have not had to use them as of yet.

Correct. It's only $20 not a bad price. But if I were to be honest, it's also questionable. Although I like what Sony did here or you can just remove the module and replace it and saves you the hassle replacing the controller entirely. They could have just made hall effect sensors to fix the issue, but they just chose to make us spend a little bit more money to replace any module that breaks. Do I recommended? Of course, I do. It's a good way to keep your controller up to date every time a module drifts
