The speaker makes it easier to hear than a regular TV. I get some buzzing through the speaker from the plug in (I need to try something other than my power strip). It will also connect to Bluetooth to play music from a phone, I have not tried this yet.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this because they finally put random/shuffle/option on it and the usb input is a wonderful idea but it lacks L/R analog outputs making it rather useless to use with older 2ch receivers like say in a bedroom or guest room application and not all tvs have those analog outputs either. close but no cigar. great otherwise.
