    I got this to replace my broken DVD player. The salesperson didn't tell me that the HDMI connector was not included, so that was really the hardest part about setting it up--having all the parts. Other than that, we're in business for the occasional Netflix DVD rental or old movie we have stashed that isn't streaming.

    I am really enjoying the format. I am usually a Samsung person, but since Samsung blu ray players are getting rare, I moved to Sony. It performs and pairs well with my Samsung TVs. I would suggest this player to friends and family in the future.

    I got this a gift for my sister and ended up keeping it. My old samsung blu-ray player would randomly turn off and it didn't have a power light so I would have to guess if it was on. However, I haven't had any issues with the Sony blu-ray except maybe having to update the software then I turned it on the first time. Great buy

    You get what you pay for - in a good way. It’s easy to connect to WiFi, it plays Blu-Rays and DVD’s, it just works. If you don’t mind waiting 1-2 seconds for a screen to load then this is the model for you, otherwise spend the extra $200+ on a fancier model with a nicer interface.

    Only had this a month and so far very happy with it. Did need a cable which I used from my old player. Otherwise simple install, just plug it in! Netflix has been running smoothly, seems excellent quality. A bit pricey. Hopefully this product lasts a long time!
