I am sure that part of my glee in using this product is that my old one was SOOOOO old. But this machine is so fast at loading the DVD and has a very tiny footprint. Love it!

Bought this to replace one I got a few years ago that was acting up. Have used this one a couple times and it seems to work well enough, nothing too exciting

Great that we can also use it to access Vudu, but having problems with the player remembering our internet connection . . . each time we turn it on we have to reconnect.

I was amazed that afterI selected the item, a salesperson said, "Come right over here, I can ring it up for you" I was surprised, I didn't ave to line up at the cashier.

Sony makes the fastest reading best overall blu ray players. If you don't need 3D or UHD, this is the best value player. I've had Panasonic and LG and this Sony is the best I've had.

I think Sonys software with their blue ray players is in dire need up upgrading. Its so confusing and clunky. I mean it works, but I think they need to update it.

Excellent BluRay player. Plays Atmos, TrueHD and all DTS formats. Wish it has a display to show what's happening.

Bought this for my dad for Christmas based on the reviews. It worked awesome and he was happy with all the apps it offered. After a few weeks, it stopped working completely. The home screen stayed on with the sony blu Ray screen and nothing worked. The door wouldn’t open, the power button didn’t work, nothing on the controller would change the screen. At this point, you couldn’t even turn it off. Thankfully, I had the geek squad protection. I brought it in and they sent it out and a few days later, I received emails stating they couldn’t repair it and I was eligible for a replacement. I picked the same make and model thinking it was a fluke but nope same exact thing happened. Been about 3 weeks since receiving the replacement and the same problem is occurring. Currently looking into a different brand for this replacement.

A little slow loading apps but I was very pleased at how functional it is. I use it mostly to access other apps not available on the SmartTV. Great buy for the price.

Good player with added features that are great unless you have smart tv. example. don't need extra features such as Netflix if already on tv but great if you don't have smart tv.

Being a single Mom, I needed something lightweight and reliable, this HP laptop is perfect! Touchscreen and a chrome book makes this the perfect buy.

We love Sony products and this player was so easy to set up. The picture quality is great. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a blue-ray player.

Got this new BlueRay/DVD player because I liked the new app features. I am an Amazon Prime member and I like that I can link various accounts and get more use out of the product.

Review summary speaks for itself. Only downside is the app store doesn't have new apps (Disney Now would've been great for the kids!) Otherwise, great choice.

This is a great, inexpensive machine. It’s small so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It has a very sharpe picture and all this for under $100!!

Sony Bluray player with built in WiFi which is nice for streaming. My last player was WiFi ready, but it wasn't built in. This is way more convenient.

This item was returned. We asked the sales associate if it could access the web to browse. He assured us it did. After installing and reading many reviews - it doesn’t.

This came the smallest of all the DVD/Bluray I've ever owned and yet it functioned perfectly and also it has the "smart" function-can watch Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc in TV

Best thing about best buy is they do not try to sell you more than you need. I needed a Blu-ray dvd but wasn't interested in all of the bells & whistles.

This is a great college Blu-ray player. Has all the SMART apps for Netflix, YouTube, etc. Price was great on Black Friday too. Only negative is it's not 4K compatible.
