I remember a day when Sony was the best you could buy for TV, DVD, CD, VHS, etc, but that time has passed. I purchased this for its smart capability, specifically for Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video. The first DVD player I purchased broke after a month; it would constantly lose the wireless configuration, locked up and was generally garbage. I returned it to Sony, waited 2 weeks and received a replacement that isn't much better. At least twice a day I have to confirm the wireless settings, and at least half of the time Hulu will not play (apparently it's a thing with Hulu and Sony DVD players.) Netflix and Prime Video will also error out, so it isn't just Hulu that's a problem. I sold this DVD player and bought an LG model which works great! If you're going to use this product solely for watching DVDs then it's fine, but if you're planning on using the smart features buy an LG instead.
