Unfortunately wifi is about the only good thing about it. Its slow, sometimes it will not power on or off. When it works, its fine. But it can be very irritating.

The picture quality is acceptable. I was disappointed to find out that this "wifi capable " blue ray player does not have an internet browser app. The player also vibrates more than expected when the disc is spinning.

I just grabbed this one in a hurry so I won't complain about lack of features, Read the box and maybe a professional review before buying. Everything that it does it does well.

The DVD function and wifi are in working order but the Blue Ray function does not work at all. It won't play any of my Blue Ray's. I'm hoping we do not have an issue with exchanging because we usually love Sony products.

This is a great disc player - small, light and easy to use. For streaming, it's a bit slow and doesn't always react right away after selecting your option. You could do worse, but there are better options out there.

It works as intended, but slow as a mf. Cheapest Sony player on website. Too many unnecessary apps pre-installed on it.

For some reason, this player is very slow to turn on and off and half the time you can’t tell if it’s on or not unless your screen is on. But then again, plays your discs once it’s up and running.

it worked good for a few hours then failed to read the disk. Went in to trade for same but didn't have anymore so we went with the LG worked way better

Don’t like it . I always have to re- install my password to see my Netflix or even YouTube. It logs you out all the time . Sometimes it takes like 20 times to reconnect.

Doesn't stream Amazon Prime even though the information offered said it did (apparently it USED to). It does not stream very many channels. It is a disappointment.

This is a nice blu-ray player but it has no buttons on the player. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to this when I bought it. If you lose the remote how are you to use the player?

Puchased as a gift, was a previously returned item which I was assured all contents were checked and in box. Found no remote upon opening box.

as far as blu ray players go it is fine. these guys are getting harder and harder to buy without spending a lot of money:( grab them while you can)

works great as a player instructions are very confusing for a beginner i still have not got it all set up and i have had several other ople try so its not just me

I'm only giving it 2 stars because it does actually function as a Blu Ray/media player. If you want it for the wi-fi, get something else. I've had this just under a year and it's been ok-ish, off and on. But now it frequently shuts itself off and factory resets, so I have to set the whole thing up all over again. I'm glad I kept my Roku box since I can no longer use this player for Netflix or anything else I need to sign in and be on wi-fi for. I have no idea why it has so many good reviews.

It's a basic DVD player. No frills. One complaint, there's no audio outputs for my stereo system. I have use a HDMI splitter to get sound to my amplifier.

I bought this to be able to get things on line but there is really no surging capabilities and you can not ad apps. Disappointed but it is a good DVD player.

The Blu-ray player seemed to function appropriately until it froze. Luckily I had purchased the 2-year plan for the Geek Squad. I will be bringing it in soon for them to assess the problem.

Easy to hook up but is quite slow and the controls are not very responsive. Takes a couple minutes for the apps to display.
