The streaming apps still work, but I don't need that as those functions are built into the TV. Very disappointed. Bought Sony as I thought it would be better quality. Turns out I was wrong. They need to focus more on the actual disc player quality as opposed to the streaming apps. I didn't buy the player for the streaming apps. There are so many other ways to watch Netflix, but only one way for us to watch a Blu-Ray disc. We only used it about 20 times. Not very durable if you ask me. I won't be buying Sony products anymore.

This one worked once or twice and then failed. Remote wouldn't work neither did switches on the unit.... Very disappointing. About to return it for a better model.

Instructions would be useful. The jury is still out. I’ll decide if it is me or dysfunctional machine after more use. In response to question below, yes I would recommend based on my older model of the same Blu-ray. But no, at least so far, based on what I just described.

Only purchased this particular one because it supports my 3D TV. Problem is, it freezes up randomly and the only way to unfreeze it is to unplug it. Very annoying. I should have returned it or sent it to Sony to see what the deal is, but I'm way beyond that now. Unless you have a 3D TV, I'd avoid this product.

The description and packaging both referenced hulu. I received the device connected it to the tv and wifi then went to use hulu and sony no longer supports hulu. I had to drive to the store to return the device. Sony stopped supporting Hulu months before but the packaging of the product was not updated nor was Best Buy's description on the website.
