It able to use fir what I needed it for. Sales associate didn’t give me good I formation

I purchased 2 Blue players for two TVS .. wouldnt install , so clled my tech man who called Sony .. same outcome .. I would have taken them back but kept them only to play DVDs .. I then had to purchase a Firestick to acces all the apps that i was unable to attain from my blue ray players .. Not plesed at all !!! Annie

I guess you get what you pay for. I wanted to make sure this had netflix, hulu and amazon aps. When I looked at the Q&A section of the website for the player, one of the comments said that it had all three. After buying this and finding out that it did not have hulu or amazon, I went back to that comment I looked at and way down in the thread someone corrected that person, saying they only had Netlix. Best buy should have taken that comment down. I would not have bought the player if I had known.

Very noisy player. It spins for a couple of minutes before finally loading the DVD.

The Blu - Ray works great. When using streaming services it is my only device on wifi that loses quality sometimes during streaming.

Only disappointment was cable was not included as stated on box. Did not want to go thru the hassel of returning so i bought a cablel.

Remote is to small and the picture is kinda dark. Picture not as vivid as it should be.

Pros: Works great, popular video apps included Cons: Setup was difficult, Remote doesn't turn off/on both TV/DVD

We bought this Sony DVD player so we could watch Prime and Netflix, it works but it is very slow to startup.

Needs a update often to work properly slow at times but for the price it’s ok

We did not know that Sony devices would not allow us to access our Amazon Prime account. We would have purchased something different if we had known. It doesn’t seem right for Sony to determine how we use the device once we’ve purchased it. We’ve always been fans of Sony products in the past but this has us rethinking the brand. Disappointing.

you cannot tell if it is on or not. Not my favorite one. I would consider another brand.

This player works as it should but is missing some important apps that my 3 year old version had.

I use this item to watch movies several times a day. After the first week it would occasionally say “ no disk” it would not sense my Blu Ray or dvd. This past week (about a month and a half after purchase) it freezes constantly, and doesn’t not play or recognize a disc is present. Thankfully I bought the warranty. I am very disappointed in SONY. I would expect more after having spent $88 dollars.

Solid enough of a DVD player. It seems to have some lag when navigating online services.

Should have paid more for the better one !!!! the picture is not good !!!

Works fine and have had no trouble with the machine except for the plug in cable which keeps pulling out of the back of the unit.

Bought this DVD/Blue Ray Player less than 10 months ago and it now fails to work. We use it at most 2 to 3 times a month (not hard use at all). It now states no matter which style disc (Standard DVD or Blue Ray) that there is no disc or disc might not be finalized, we have tried numerous discs to no luck. Might be looking at a different brand next time.
