I was wrong. When streaming video from Amazon, this player periodically cuts out. You get the loud sound of static and static on screen, then it just goes black and shuts down. Stay away from this this one.

Settings would show that it was connected to a network, but it wouldn't respond to internet signals until it was repeatedly turned off and on. Best Buy wasn't interested in resolving the problem and a store manager indicated that they preferred not to service what they sell (not obligated to provide service is what he actually said), but strongly encouraged me to return it and try another one instead. I eventually returned it to the store for credit and found out after de-installation that the unit had some how disabled the HDMI port on my television. I have tried several times to discuss the issue with Best Buy management, but they have elected to ignore my inquiries. Could not recommend this product to anyone.
