It was a discounted Open Box/Guaranteed Refurbished sale in store and my husband fell for the offer. Long story short, my mom only used it TWO times. The first time she watched my wedding video on it and left it inside the player. The second time she wanted to switch out the disk to watch a new movie, that we just got her for Mother's Day and the Wedding disc never ejected! The Player is stuck on the "ON" position and will not do anything else. It will not turn "OFF," "Eject," or "Play." I can't express how ANGRY I am that her birthday present is ruin, our money thrown down the drain, and worst of all we can't get the Wedding Video out of the player. NEVER EVER buy an OPEN BOX/REFURBISHED item from BEST BUY!!!

This is the second Sony Blu-ray player I had bought. The first one in the picture quality was not very good on it and it buzzed just a little bit when you close the tray of the disc drawer. The second one I bought just a week ago got it home buzzing real bad every time you shut the tray drawer with a disc in it it buzzes like crazy the color is all off even after you adjust it, looks horrible , the picture jumps up and down a lot, will not purchase a Sony player again

Missing key apps

In the questions section, it said these could be added. I wish I had searched further -- those can't be added. I will be returning the player.

I bought the first one at Best Buy for my son and it quit playing DVD/Blurays. I contacted Sony for the warranty and they sent a new one. Well, guess what that one no longer works too! I'm very upset about this! I have a special needs son that loves to watch his movies and now he is unable to do so because of this issue. I hope Sony will realize that this particular model is a bad design!! Thanks!
