    By the time I discovered that this Sony player couldn’t stream Amazon or Disney+, Best Buy’s 15 day return window had passed. Disappointed with such inflexible policies.

    It works fairly well for like a year and the speakers gave out... now whenever I play a movie, the sound only come out of two speakers at a time. I wouldn’t have pay this much for a product that only last 1 year

    This was my second Sony Blu-ray player. I've learned my lesson. Will never buy another. Works just fine as a DVD player but the apps won't load or they freeze. Player turns off by itself. Constantly need to re-enter password and login numerous times. Spent more time trying to reconnect to WiFi than using it to watch TV. My internet speed was not the issue. I eventually bought a fire stick instead. Haven't used the Blu-ray player since. Buyer beware.

    Very disappointed in this product. It has no Amazon Prime app, which is the only reason I purchased it. Older version I have of it has Amazon, this newer one does not. Extremely unhappy with this purchase.

    Bought because reasonably priced unit to be able to stream. The unit didn’t last a week and locked up. Would turn on but that’s it. Would not function passed that point. Was returned and upgraded to a Samsung

    Blu Ray player worked great, excellent video and audio quality, and had a variety of apps you could load. After 3 months a dozen of the apps were no longer available (vendors made no longer available it said) after first system update. Second update "bricked" the system: malicious code set Child Lock and you cannot get it to do ANYTHING. Best Buy would send it to Sony they said as warranty passed and I did not buy extended warranty; Sony said not covered by warranty and cost to ship and hourly rates would have been 1/5 times the retail price. Which makes this a piece of junk.

    It came severely damaged and I will be returning it for a new one. I’m sure one that is not damaged will work really nice. Super bummed since it was a Xmas gift.

    Second one i've owned that failed after an online software update. There were forums on the internet warning about it but i foolishly tried it anyway because it offered the exact versatility i was looking for. This one lasted just long enough to be past the local vendors return period. Now i have to waste my time going back and forth with Sony. Hey folks....buy an LG brand player.

    Loved this little machine...for the first two or three months. Then it stop recognizing any dvd inserted....did all the troubleshooting but nothing worked. The remote could be a bit better as well.

    This DVD player does not stay connected to the internet even when we are on it. It restarts whenever it wants and even when it is connected to the internet it says that it isn't. When it wants to work, it's great, other than that, it kinda sucks.
