At the same time, we apologize for the issues you've experienced with the microphone quality and battery life. To enhance your experience, we recommend the following steps:

-If you're using a video calling application, open its settings and verify that the speaker and microphone are set to "Headset (WH-CH720N Hands-Free)."

-To extend battery life, consider disabling the following features that may consume extra power: Equalizer, DSEE Extreme, DSEE HX, DSEE, and Speak-to-Chat.

You can use the WHCH720N headphones without connecting them to the Sony Headphone| Connect app. These headphones will still work as regular Bluetooth headphones and use them to listen music, make phone calls, and user other audio features. Please make sure that the headphones software is updated as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.
