I wanted to try out this phone for a while before posting a review. After using this phone for over 2 months now, I'd like to say that I am glad for buying this Sony phone. It has an excellent camera and takes good pictures even in low light conditions. Definitely takes better photos than the iPhone. The only issue I have with the camera app is the image processing time it takes. Sony's own UI is also nice. I like how snappy the phone is. The screen is also nice and vibrant. I'd definitely recommend this phone to anybody any time.

Although there are more feature-packed phones available for less cost , I bought the Sony Xperia X model because of the additional 4G LTE bands support it included. For travel purposes, there were particular LTE bands I needed. There are trade-offs, such as its lower screen resolution, lack of 4K video recording and a few missing desirable features, but band support and expandable storage options were more essential needs for travel purposes. Phone was a bit pricey for the included features, but it does have a decent quality sound system and good camera.

I bought this phone on the date of release because I was looking for something different. Overall it works really well, but I was having overheating issues when recording video for an extended amount of time. There was also one day, and It seriously only happened once, where the battery was dying really fast and charging really slow. I was planning on returning it the next day, but Sony released a software update that very night, which took care of both problems. Since then, everything has been excellent. The camera is awesome, and I love the overall feel of the phone. Light but in no way flimsy. I believe it can keep up with any phone in the market today.

This phone is excellent. It's fast, has a great display, a great battery (I often go 2 consecutive nights without charging it), and fairly minimal amounts of apps you can't get rid of. Upgraded from a first gen Moto X and it is a noticeable upgrade pretty much across the board!

i love the camera 23 MG no phone i know got that. fast charger. half the price of the i phone and better camera. i had an iPhone since 2008, i was not sure how i would adjust to android, but two weeks in i was hooked.

I was a bit hesitant about purchasing the phone because I never heard of Sony phones. I read and heard great reviews for the phone and I am pleased that I purchased it. The camera is great and the software is good. The phone comes with some great apps but the only downside of the using apps is the battery life.

Good battery life, 2 days normal usage. Good camera. If you change firmware to UK/Europe you get an awesome fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. Great value for the price you pay.

Camera is great, the best I tried. Battery life is very good. On standby lasts a lot. Truly international, has all possible bands.

I've had this phone for 2 years now and I love it! Sony is really good at pushing out updates. I can enjoy the Android experience without having to settle for a Samsung. Great camera, great speakers, and battery lasts a long time.

bought it for my little sister and she loves it. Takes pictures very well, fast performance and good battery life.

I am adverse to spending $700+ for a phone and in an attempt to find a phone with an excellent camera and powerful processor, I found this Sony. I have had Sony phones in the past and I am to say the least totally pleased. The camera is amazing.

This is my second Sony phone. My experience with the first one was good and I am kind of used to it, so I continue to purchase Sony phone. Its camera takes great photos, the video and sound are good for watching and listening to Youtube. It automatically lists the new in-coming messages or e-mails while my phone is sitting idle so that I know what to see when I access my phone. The size is right for my hands. Though I have not explored it much enough, I am going to enjoy it as I go along with it.

I bought this phone because it seemed to have great specs and also its price was lower compared to a Samsung or an iPhone. I couldn't make it work though. There was an issue with the airplane mode that didn't allow the phone connect to the network. I had to return it and purchased a different brand because the model was not available in my Best Buy preferred store. I had once a Xperia phone and it was a great. This time it let me down. ......bad luck I guess.

When this phone first came out it was a bit overpriced. But at $350.00 This phone is the best value on the market. Sony really made a great phone. You can't find 32GB, Full HD with a Snapdragon 650, (essentially an 810) for this price. Get it. You won't be disappointed.

Flashed Italy firmware and the finger print sensor worked. Oneplus 3 is a better bargain but this is better looking...

Camera captures pictures very fast good for taking baby's pics. Also battery lasts for a day

Great camera, good looking phone! Not the fastest since it has the processor of a mid range Phone. Has the fingerprint sensor but it is disabled unfortunately. You can get it to work if you flash UK firmware although I haven't tried I just read online.

I had a z3 compact before buying this phone. That phone was great and so is this one. Great specs, great price. I have zero complaints.

nice color, design good, it faster than i think, good screen

I loved this phone. There are many awesome features but it has one huge downfall. The reception is terrible and I mean terrible. I don't get a great signal where I live and this phone wouldn't work for me at all. I have a Motorola g5 now and the reception difference is night and day. I would only recommend this phone to people living in a city where the signal is strong.
