After my galaxy S7 locked up on me and decided it was going to not work anymore, i said no more Samsung and purchased the new Sony X. I had been talking to a few of my buddy's from Europe and they have been telling me about Sony phones, and the quality difference between Samsung and Apple. I never listened because i liked my Samsung at the time. But i am glad i mad the switch to the new Sony x. Sony from now on! and you cant beat the price compared to other carriers.

This phone is everything it claims to be and more! It has exceeded my expectations in every way! The camera, and all the camera effects, are amazing; and, at least, equal to, if not superior to, my professional camera! The screen is gorgeous and, as it turns out, extremely resistant to fingerprints and smudges! Unlike many other phones, it feels perfectly weighted for my hand, not slippery or unwieldy! I am thrilled that I chose this product! I cannot imagine a phone better suited for my needs!

Beautiful and blisteringly fast phone with a ton of horsepower, almost perfection.

This phone is the perfect size and performance is very good. After a few days it received Nougat update, which is great.

I bought this phone in December 2016, having had a Samsung Galaxy S5 before. I liked the features and the price and the phone had a nice design. In the 4 months I have had the phone the text feature stopped working, then the internet stopped working for several days at a time. I research the issue and it looks like there are several similar complaints out there. I have to change my settings, restart, try the internet, change settings again and turn the phone on and off. It is ridiculous that this phone has so many bugs!! Sony is not the most helpful and you only have 14 days to return or exchange a phone to Best Buy so I can't even return this worthless piece of junk. I am stuck with a phone that works sporadically and really regretting my decision to switch to a Sony. I would not recommend this phone to anyone who texts or needs the internet regularly. Also I don't like that I can't send notes as a text message, I need to email them. And the camera is not great, more megapixels does not seem to equal better quality.

I really REALLY wanted to love this phone. On paper, it had all the features I was looking for, but in real life the lack of in-call volume was a deal-breaker, so I ended up returning the 2 I had purchased and eating the restocking fees. On paper it sounded SOOOO GOOOD. Something other than a Samsung or Iphone, great size, bootloader unlock supported by the manufacturer, NFC, could flash the UK rom for a fingerprint scanner, Nougat support, good camera. I was pumped! But then, while I was getting ready to install the UK Rom, the phone rang. The ringer was low...really low, and jacking up the volume didn't fix it. And call volume was even lower! Even with the volume turned all the way up, turning on the speaker phone, even after I downloaded a couple volume booster apps, the call volume is barely above a whisper. I had just talked to the person who called me the day before, and on my other phone, no issues- volume was normal, hearable. So the difference was the Xperia.

I had to replace my z4 and the z5 was sold out. ended up getting this model, im a so happy with it. its ridiculous fast and smooth. super happy with my purchase

Avoid any Sony Mobile Device At all cost. These sorry excuses for smartphones are notorious for self-cracking screens rendering them completely unusable. Despicable. I myself can't believe this & the fact that these phones garner any support is inconceivable.
