Amazing restoration. One of the best spoof films ever

This is probably one of the most blatant and EARLY RIP-OFFS of Star Wars not counting BATTLESTAR GALACTICA 1978 and the original V Miniseries. Both of those TV specials/series got sequels and reboots. Making this film one of the FEW CLASSICS of the genre. Hopefully it will continue to AGE well! Blazing Saddles and History of the World Part 1 are my favorites but definitely R rated humor. Family Guy creator did a better job with their Sequels and in-jokes for MODERN teens and fans of SETH McFARLAND's humor.

You just can't go wrong with Mel Brooks! I have had this on DVD for ages and it was definitely time to upgrade. My son is also a big Mel Brooks fan but his wife has not seen any of his movies so I bought them a copy as well. I picked up two copies of Robin Hood: Men In Tights and High Anxiety on this trip as well and was ECSTATIC to find the last. I have been looking for that one for ages!

This is one of Mel Brooks' best films out of a catalog of many successes. It's full of many cultural references that any child of the 70's or 80's will find instantly familiar. Just remember, if you find yourself oppressed by the forces of dorkness: May the Schwartz be with you.

I bought this DVD of one of my favorite movies at Best Buy the other day while shopping for other merchandise. I got a great deal on one of my favorite movies. I cannot wait to view it again! BTW: the cashier was helpful and courteous too.

Spaceballs is the Mel Brooks sci-fi classic you need right now.

If you like cheesy sci fi humor and 80's humor this movie is for you. From blatant to subtle jokes, Mel Brooks has a joke a minute in this movie. Great movie to turn off your mind and relax with to have a laugh.

It’s really funny! I like to watch it. It’s Star Wars but a comedy way which is really cool. If you need a good laugh this is the right movie to watch. I highly recommend.

What more can be said. Mel Brooks meets Star Wars. If you are a fan of Mel Brooks you will not be disappointed with this film Plenty of gags and jokes galore

I mean... It's Spaceballs. Chances are, you already know everything you need to know to make the decision to buy it or not. Also, it's a Mel Brooks movie too.

I actually bought this edition for my girlfriend. But I've always loved it and have purchased it in every new physical format. Can't wait for the 4k edition!

Simply one of the bests movies ever. And now that its on Blue ray, it looks so much better. Can't wait for the 4k UHD version
