Great little droid with good controls and some personality! Much better than the cheaper versions from other companies. Very solid feel and construction - still great how the head stays on and upright while it's moving. The cat definitely likes chasing it around. Also neat how it can interact with movies and do holograms on your iphone. The controls on iphone work very well and was pretty easy to sync/setup. The Force is Strong with this One.

This was a Christmas gift I was unsure about but the recipient loved it. As far as the functionality of the BB-8 itself, it is really cool. The app allows you to freely move the “droid” in any direction and allows for multiple sounds depending on a variety of situations. I did not get a chance to see the projection quality but the fact it has that feature is awesome. Even if you aren’t a gigantic Star Wars buff but want a cool remote toy and don’t mind the higher price point, one of these would be a very cool solution.

After charging the BB 8 and hooking it to my smart phone I was very impressed on how interactive this toy was and just downright cute . A little sluggish on carpeting but not bad and it proved that it can run into walls and different things like that and no damage to the body which was great . I would recommend this to other people and mostly to Star Wars fans as it is a great collectible

Pretty fun toy for anyone that is a fan of Star Wars. Being able to control it with a mobile device is part of the fun factor and look forward to future updates. It does have a hard time on thicker carpet.

The motions and functions of the BB-8 are very realistic. It does take a bit of practice to master the motions but not an excessive amount of time. Once mastered, it is great fun to run BB-8 all over the house. Recommend this for all of the Star Wars fans, young and old.

We bought the BB-8 early in the Christmas shopping season, the wait to open it was well worth it. My daughter and the family loves the BB-8. It is an entertaining remote controlled toy essentially that you can use with all of the Sphero capabilities.

My son loves to play with BB8 it's great for rainy days it's gives him something to do and talk about to his friends. It works well and the directions walk you through everything

I bought this for my son after seeing the movie. He loved it. It's easy to control. He uses the app on his tablet. It has a patrol mode that roams arouund the house by itself!

Lets get this out of the way, this thing will not work great on carpet. We don't have the most plush carpet, and it easily gets bogged down in spots. So do yourself a favor and only play with it on really low carpet or just on hard surfaces like wood or tile. Other than that, it is super fun. It was a breeze to setup, and the app makes it really entertaining.

Little pricey, I paid $149, I missed the bundle price with wrist remote for $99... awesome! Cool little gadget! Perfect Star Wars goft!!

Could this be the next amazing cat toy??? Love BB-8, but love to see my cat watching him move across the floor even better.
