This film and all successors are aimed
for all ages.
Amazing Spider Man didnt fail
imo -it was a fast reboot that simply
couldnt be better than this one, so it was
well sort of a waste.
1st - "Skull Crusher -Randy Savage RIP."
William Defoe is sometimes even funny as the antagonist.
Peter Parker is strong but humble like he should, saying
in the end that he needs to take care of his responsibilities
first. His crush Mary Jane is cute and just interesting.
The lighting in the movie is strongly bright and colorfull.
I dont know much about 4k version but the blu ray will
blind you lol.
The only con of this 5star movie and its sequels is it just may be
upbeat and light to watch it so many times over.
But it Spider-Man, and the best yet, so just get it, right?

I've never been a huge fan of these Spiderman movies but I bought this blu ray because I was curious about the quality of the 4K Master. I am glad I bought it because it is a very cinematic very high quality transfer. With this being mastered from a 4K source there is no reason for them to try to falsely sharpen or falsely 'enhance' any aspect, and they don't tinker with it in any way, rightfully so...and since they don't tinker with it and they leave the entire 50GB disc for just the movie alone to play as brilliantly as possible, you get a naturally beautiful cinematic picture. This is in my opinion well worth buying for the quality of the picture.

This is Spider-Man on Blu Ray. With the new series being all the rage, this older version is, I believe, superior. It gets the origin story done faster and gets down to business. The villain is rather weak, but why waste a top-notch villain when the origin story will take up so much of the time (Doctor Octopus is the next villain, in the second, and best, installment)? Spider-Man himself lacks the wit of the comics and new series, but Tobey Maguire is good in the role, even if his vacant stares and relationship with brain-dead M.J. lack the crackle and pop of Garfield and Stone. I'd say overall a good flick.

The first ever live action Spider-Man. Obviously the movie is great. This Blu-Ray edition is decent as well. The film looks good in HD. It doesn't have any new special features but has most of the same special features as the previous 2 disc special edition if you're into that sort of stuff.

This is one of my favourite films and now I get to see it in 4K Mastered! Definitely recommend but it's important to note that this is "mastered in 4K" on BD and that this is not a 4K film on BD. You must have a BD Player that has the capability of playing back xv.YCC color, a 4K UHDTV and the cables to get the full benefit of the expanded color! This is best film in the series!

This is the movie that brought us the modern day version of the old spider-man comic book and cartoon character into the big screen. I thought it was very well made. The Green Goblin has always been the thorn in spider-man's life. Great costumes and special effects. Tons of action. Great catalyst for many great Spider-man movies to come.

Spider-Man (2002) is a superhero film that still holds up to this day. The story is interesting, the characters are well written, and it has a great amount of funny moments and emotional moments. A must-watch!

There are parts of this movie that are definitely dated but it is still great to watch. Sam Raimi understands what makes the character special. I can’t wait so see OG Spider-Man interact with MCU Spider-Man.

I had the DVD of this long ago, and now I'm happy to have spent less on the blu ray than I did for the DVD. The movie looks and sounds great, plus has all the extras you could want, aside from a cameo by Steve Dtiko. The disc comes with both HD and SD versions, so you can watch it anywhere.

I was upset when they decided to reboot this franchise without Tobey Maguire. This original series had a much stronger emphasis on character and plot instead of bigger and better action scenes. The picture quality is great and allows me to forget about the new Spiderman films which don't hold a candle to these originals.

Great movies possess an enduring quality of being easy to enjoy, no matter when they are made. "Spider-Man 1" fits into that category. I enjoyed watching it more now, than the first time over ten years ago. Tobey Maguire's characterization of Spider-Man has a soft edge, which I favor. The Blu-Ray extras are fantastic!

This is the original Spiderman movie. There's been a lot of Spiderman movies since then but the original is still the best in my opinion, they should never have remade this series again so soon after the original in my opinion.

This movie is pretty good for a pre-MCU comic book movie. A lot of fun, a little corny, good interplay between hero and villain, some cheesy CGI. This transfer is great and really brings the movie to life.

It's hard to imagine this movie came out over a decade ago. It was fantastic then and it's fantastic now. Acting, story, and graphics are phenomenal. I've seen it a dozen times and now I can watch it a dozen more.

Pretty good disc to just own the movie, not much on special features but rarely does anyone get time to truly use any of those. Other than that really can't be that price tag of $7 which is pretty close to fair market value at this point considering the age of the film

I remember seeing this movie in theaters when I was a kid, I loved it back then but going back to it now I see how the movie falters in some areas. Still, it's a good film and I enjoy it, just not as much as the second one (my favorite of the three movies).
