A breath of fresh air in the over-crowded superhero/comic book movie genre. The team behind this made so many fantastic choices that are just spectacular. The visuals are beautiful and the characters are funny and fun to hang out with. It’s only flaw was that it could of spent more time with some of these characters as humans, instead of trying to follow formulas for creating “emotional arcs” in superhero/comic book films. The 4K UHD presentation on this disc of an already beautiful looking film is quite good, not perfect as it’s an upscaled image but it’s still just as crisp and breathtaking as it was in the theatre.

One of the best Spiderman movies…period. This animated movie showcases a variety of Spidermen from around the marvel universe to include cartoons, comics and games. It’s a fantastic film and great for the kids.

The animation is just top notch. It as if the comic book leaped off the pages. I've seen practically all super hero films to include the DC animated ones. This feels as if they took comic books and Playstation animation and just came up with this perfect look. And the story is great.. the pacing is so wonderful. It is able to tell the story.. and an origin without boring us to tears like Zack Snyder has done in the DC universe. The story is quiet touching. And it allows us to have a pretty interesting Spider Man in Miles WITHOUT thrashing or having a Peter Parker like experience. Plus our the villains are so well done..

It's strange seeing such a minimalist design for a movie that goes so over the top. The steelbook, I think, is beautifully, but gives just a taste of the bright, stylish colors of the film itself. Without spoiling anything, this is one of the most fun, creative, original animated movies in ages, and is deserving of every award it's gotten, and then some. This is a movie you NEED in your collection, regardless of how big a fan of Spidey you are, and the steelbook is one of the nicest ways to have it.

I love this movie, the art style, the framerate being different for each character and different in parts of the movie paired with a wonderful story and amazing cast of characters voices beautifully by such amazing voice actors. I would highly recommend this movie, accords the spiderverse is good but i feel this movie is better.

Solid animation. I wished DC animators could take some notes. This was a well-executed project, from the story board, visuals, and soundtrack. Solid film all around and deserving of its Oscar. We have watched this several times already. All our kids love it and feel inspired by the theme. Compared to most other kid movies that promote a happy ending, this one was a bit unique in its reach. This movie made me feel like I can do anything. It made me (an adult) feel like I can overcome anything. Anyone of us can be a hero. It was very inspiring and a movie, I think, can resonate with people from all walks of life.

First off, purely from a Spider Man movie perspective, this is a great movie that contains some fun moments and a heartwarming story. The voice acting is top notch, the motivations clear, the story well written and sincere. The visuals are absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD though. This is easily the best looking animated movie I have ever seen. It's hard to compare it to something like a Pixar movie, since the style is so wholly unique and mesmerizing, but for my money I would love to see more of this. The sountrack is also a high point, with amazing use of hip hop beats, and bass. Go watch this movie, now.

Academy Award winners are NOT always very good films. This one however is amazing. The creators kept the main theme of Spiderman, while stretching it to new directions. After this version, we realize that we all have the potential to be a super hero; it doesn't have to reside with the privileged. The creators tried the daring task of creating an immersive 2D experience, placing the viewer in the constructs of a comic book world while maintaining both the traditional movie imaging, AND using hand drawn art mixed with CGI. It is a unique and amazing visual spectacular! Get it, whether you've seen it or not.

Product worked great. A great Spider-Man story, with some unique animation. It worked out really well. I'll let the annoying characters like Spider-Pig pass because kids love them and the rest of the story and animation makes up for them.

One of THE best Spider-Man movies made. Its beautifully animated in a one of a kind style and the voice cast is fantastic. Shamiek Moore makes a great Miles Morales conveying the vulnerability and courage it takes to become Spider-Man. Jake Johnston, Hailee Steinfeld, and the rest also kill it. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry (that cameo though), and it will have you on the edge of your seat. Worth checking out, and worth getting on steelbook to add to your collection with its colorful cover and great design. I wish the DC steelbooks would look as good as the ones they do for Marvel.

I wish there was enough praise I can give this movie. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is such a joy from beginning to the end. The extra features makes it even more worth it, including an alternative version of the movie with deleted scenes. It can be a bit jarring to watch the alternative version because the deleted scenes were not finished, so it messes with the flow somewhat. Despite that, if you are a Spider-man fan, you need to see this movie. It embodies what makes Spider-man as a whole such an iconic character. I literally cannot wait to see what else this series has in store in the future.

My 3 year old daughter loves this movie. I hope they do a Spider Gwen movie as a follow up to really get her into the series. But back to the movie. It is a great story that both young and old can appreciate. All the voice acting is top notch, although I will say that Spider Pig could have had some thing better and Penny Parker could have been a bit more Japanese anime style and less American wanting to be anime style. I know that both of those were probably done that way on purpose, but it would have made me happier. Even still, this movie is an easy 9 out of 10 or higher!

My initial reaction when Sony announced an animated Spider-Man movie was pretty simple. "Great another way for them to cash in." Once news came out of the creative team behind the project and seeing the trailer my opinion shifted. And finally seeing the film in theaters blew me away. Aside from beautiful visuals the cast was amazing, the story was heartfelt, and I got to see many characters from the Spider-Man comics that I never thought would make it to the big screen. Whether you're a casual fan or die hard Marvel lover. A child or an adult this film is worth watching.

I'm a long-term Marvel and Spidey fan, having read my 1st Spidey Comic in 1972. My twenty-something son saw this in the theaters and said it was "Amazing". He recommended it to me. I was skeptical that I'd like it considering the newer characters and modern animation style. I was wrong! I loved it. I loved the new generation Spider-Man (MIles Morales) and Spider-Gwen too. They did a great job of capturing the essence Peter Parker. I thought the animation style was awesome. So many great homages to long term Spider-Man fans too. Spider-Ham! 'Nuff Said!

Spider-Man Into The Spider-verse is first and foremost Miles Morales’s origin story with a fun spin on it. Also over the course of the film we learn the origins of alternate Spider-Men and Spider-Gwen. Our gang of Spider-Men are out to destroy a alternate reality machine that none other than Kingpin is behind and a alternate Doc Ock. I won’t spoil it for you but you kind of feel bad for the guy. He has personal reasons why he’s out to make this machine a reality. By the end of the film Miles learns what it means to be Spider-Man that anyone can wear the mask.

Missed this in the theaters and was pleasantly surprised how good it is. I can see why this won the Oscar for best animated film. The Atmos track is amazing. The picture quality is great as well. My only nitpick, the intentional artist intent of making certain background scenes blurry to represent the feel of reading a comic that had a printing error was a bit harsh on my eyes. Didn't really care for it. Otherwise, an awesome film and 4K Blu-ray.

I really had no idea what I was getting into with this movie. As a fan of the movies and Peter Parker Spiderman - I really never paid much attention to the "other" spider-mans(women) and even a pig! I was wonderfully surprised by how entertaining and fresh this movie is. Even the original takes on the villains were nice. Kingpin is one of my favorite Spider-man foes and bringing him in with a nice back story (Vanessa) was brilliant. The Blu-ray is super clean and gorgeous. Also, as a Vudu user, having the digital copy is an added plus!

I went into this movie thinking "This is just another Spiderman cartoon", however, it proved to be way more than just a "cartoon". Yes, it's animated, but the storyline could carry over to live action just as well. It has everything that a good movie needs...a good plot, interesting characters, the right amount of tragedy/drama, laughs at the right times...all while remaining a serious story about a kid finding his true self...and others just like him. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Spiderman or superheroes in general.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is what happens when a studio has exhausted all traditional options of making a successful franchise and has to take risks or else lose it all. The comic book art style, the low frame rate animation, the writing, the characters, the acting. It all comes together to a brilliant and amazing whole. The one technical thing about the Blu-Ray, though, is that in action scenes the voices and dialogue are getting drowned out or are just quieter for some reason which sucks because the movie is really funny.

Excellent movie, excellent customer service. I was resistant to watch this movie at first because I’m not a big fan of animated. But this movie was actually really well made. My kids absolutely loved it too. The day after we watch this movie we went to the theaters to see the second one!
