This cable is going to be used to connect my 4K Dell display to my GTX 1080 Founders Edition Nvidia graphics card to take advantage of the faster refresh rates DisplayPorts are capable of. I currently have an HDMI 4K monster cable connecting the monitor to the desktop, however the speed of the refresh is limited to 30Hz versus the 75Hz for DisplayPort. I searched many sites and wanted to make sure I had a store I could easily return it to or get help with the product if I ran into any troubles. BestBuy offered me that opportunity and was just as inexpensive as Amazon for the purchase. I didn't hesitate to buy from BestBuy.

Great price and works great. This meets my needs exactly. I purchased to take advantage of additional features on my new UHD monitor that required a DisplayPort instead of HDMI cable. My Mac Mini only had a Mini DisplayPort jack so I needed a way to connect to the full size port on the monitor.

Got a new laptop that didn't have an HDMI output, so I needed this quickly. BestBuy shipped and delivered. Cable is high quality - no analog interference on the remote monitor at all. Works perfectly! John

Works like a charm, good quality, no complaints! Used it with my Dell precision and a Dell monitor and the resolution is excellent.

After running low on available ports, I needed something to be able to run a second monitor from my gaming laptop. This was one of the few solutions available to me considering the available ports on my gaming monitor. It's pretty straight-forward: the mini DisplayPort end goes into my laptop, and the DisplayPort end goes into my monitor. Works just fine, nothing else to set up.

I recommend this cable if you are using a second monitor connected to a MACBOOK AIR or PRO. Better result than using HDMI. Quick response.

A very worthy cable that enables me to play games under 144hz refresh rate with 2k resolution.

Perfect for connecting my Alienware Laptop to my Dell Monitor. Display port SUPPORTS higher refresh rates, so if you have a display capable of OVER 120hmz, its probably time to replace that HDMI cable with a display port cable, IF your system and monitor both support displayport!

I have a Surface Pro 6 for work docked up to two monitors. My work gave me a Mini DisplayPort to hdmi adapter, and a hdmi to standard display port cable... too many adapters!... it didn’t work. This cable solved that, and cleaned up my desk.

Dell should really be supplying along with the normal display port and hdmi cables. I have an alienware monitor and GSync only works with this cable.

It did the job beautifully. I had tried an HDMi to Display port converter from another vendor, but it was non-functional. This is a well-made connection cable of sufficient length to get the job done.

This is a solid DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort cable that works with my Surface Book and 27" Samsung monitor. It's a far improved quality over my previous one. Love the gold connectors. This is rock solid and reliable and will serve me for years of use.

I tried HDMI and this cable. And this cable is the best to connect an external monitor that has a DisplayPort option and you want to connect it to your Macbook. Looks sturdy and strong.
