I have loved this game since I was a kiddo. Having the ability to get it as an adult with better graphics and replay it is a dream. Plays well on switch I haven't had any issues. Have not finished them yet, but I had played the original several times and still get the rush of nostalgia.

Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster live up to the bring back the great memories of from one of the great Konami game series. The remaster as improved some detail to character art and even the background and the world map but it still kept everything the original had from the past era of the game series. Here looking forward to the other series being remaster.

This classic RPG has been revived for modern-day consoles. It’s one of the original series Konami has to offer, dating back to the PlayStation 1 era. It’s a must-play for any RPG enthusiast, and a physical copy is highly valued! I eagerly anticipate the release of the rest of the series as well.

Amazing remaster of the original games! They kept all the things that made me love the game years ago. The music, the character faces, the combat. A refreshing take and I absolutely love it!

This is a great classic rpg that i remember playing back in the PlayStation 1. I would def recommend if your into the old school rpg games

This was one of my favorite games as a child. When I heard the recently remade it, I had to get my hands on it! I ordered through Best Buy's website for pick up. It was fast and had it in my hands within an hour. Blissful reunion.

If i'd known it'd ship with basically zero protection (not shipped in cardboard box) i'd have either bought this elsewhere or picked one up in person. Buyer beware. If you dont care about a mangled case however, it still may be worth it. The actual switch chip itself still works and plays.

As a long-time fan, I was thrilled for the Suikoden I & II HD Remaster on Switch, and it truly delivers! This is a must-have for both veterans and newcomers. The stunning visual overhaul is the first thing you'll notice. Sprites are beautifully redrawn, and backgrounds are crisp and vibrant, making the world pop like never before. Quality-of-life improvements like battle speed-up and a smoother UI make the gameplay much more enjoyable. The updated translation is a great bonus, too. Both games offer timeless stories with unforgettable characters and deep political intrigue, especially Suikoden II, which remains a narrative masterpiece. Playing these classics on the go in portable perfection is a dream. The performance is solid, making it ideal for the Switch. This remaster is a faithful enhancement, staying true to the originals while modernizing them. It's clear it was made with respect for the series. Overall, the Suikoden I & II HD Remaster is a fantastic package that breathes new life into two incredible JRPGs. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience these epic tales!

This collection is amazing! I played them at launch then on psp. I sold my ps1 games (dohl) and this was on my wish list for years. I am so happy with it. The updated backgrounds and character art is great. Pixel characters aren't touched so it's retained its charm. Music is still phenomenal and the few bugs are quashed. Buy it. Please. We need people to buy this so 3 to 5 and tactics get remastered as they are stuck on ps2 and digital ps3.

I loved these games on release and this collection does a good job sprucing up the graphics without losing what made it special. The first game doesn’t fare as well as the second does with the graphical upgrades, but it also looks good. If you haven’t played these games, they were on PS1 and do show their age. If you like older RPG’s and missed these, I would recommend them, the second games story is truly great. They both have fairly simple combat that moves quickly and you can recruit a large number of characters for your party. You don’t have to worry about characters falling behind in levels, because if you bring any low leveled characters to a high level area, they will level up very quickly.

This is probably one of the best remakes. Classic JRPG in the palm of your hand. Don’t miss out on this one.

I am so happy they released this remaster. The originals are some of my favorite games ever and this remaster is great. I've only played the first one in this remaster so far and even with the changes they made I am thoroughly enjoying myself. My only complaint is I wish they had dedicated some of their graphic revamping to the character models. Just gave them some more pixels or smoothed them out- something. But overall just happy to be able to play this on modern systems.

I never played this game and I was surprised on how great it is. I haven't put in down since I bought it. I'm so happy I bought it and got a realy good deal. Awesome jrpg. I'm very happy to add this to my collection.

Suikoden I is a chill intro—it’s got heart, even if it feels kinda old. Suikoden II is the real MVP. Bigger world, better story, more emotional punch. If you’re into games like Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, or even Persona—but want something more grounded and political—this is a great pick. Super cool throwback, now way easier to play.

Absolutely love these 2 games. One is awesome, 2 is a masterpiece. Sooooo worth the price!

in this game, u can recruit 100+ characters into ur party. i hate when a rpg has a limited party size. also each character has unique background, ability and personality. i wish it were a remade game. graphic wise it wont meet modern standard. thats only flaw for this game
