Ole Joe does a pretty good job at cutting branches witbout too much difficulty, and not a lot of kick.

Easy to use, effective in trimming tree branches up to 3-4 inches thick.

Got this for my husband so he could trim the Nance without a ladder or climbing a tree. Works great, highly recommended.

This is a great cordless pole saw. The battery is interchangeable with other Sun Joe products.

This is a good option for residential trimming, trimmed 2 large trees in my yard and the battery still had power

Very happy I made this purchase. Most useful $99 I may have ever spent. I gave this a very thorough workout the first 4 days I owned it. I was cutting anywhere from half inch tree limbs all the way up to 8 to 9" limbs. I got a good hour to hour and a half when cutting the smaller limbs. It does take the full 5 hrs to charge as advertised. I would start in the morning, cut for an hour to hour and a half, throw the battery on the charger for five hrs. While it was charging I would clean up the yard of the branches I had cut. At the 5 hr mark, I would stick the battery on the saw and I would go and cut again until the battery drained. Never had any problems throwing the chain or keeping it tight. Just make sure to check it every now and then for tightness. Saw doesn't come with oil so make sure and pick up a quart before using. It doesn't use alot, but the chain def needs the oil to perform correctly. I'm 6'5" and with both extensions pulled out to their maximum I wouldn't have wanted any more extension on this saw. It was completely adequate and my reach was more than adequate on fairly high limbs.

Great little saw does need oil before you start. Works well but if you arnt careful or over do it the chain can and will jump. Be sure to have safety glasses and a hat or hard hat.

As long as the work isn't too complicated this saw can handle it but it's definitely not for big jobs.

The saw is well built. It cuts through branches and cutting fire wood to size easily.
