My dad wanted just a simple DVD player so he could watch his older DVDs. He has been very happy with this model. We were also pleased that you can connect with an HDMI or coaxial connections. Some of the more expensive models did not have the HCMI option. This was a very good price as well.

Bought it for the camper it's small and compact and does what we need for a cheap price

Recently purchased this to use in conjunction with a projector purchased on Amazon, and it works as needed! It is a pretty standard DVD player. Only things I can think of are that if it stops working with a DVD in it you would probably have to break it open, and sometimes it plays movies with subtitles on automatically, which is odd. But otherwise it works well!

Perfect for our needs. We didn’t want anything fancy with a lot of extras, just wanted the basics and that’s what we got. Like the ease in operating it and the directions are understandable, not a lot of jargon that we don’t get. It’s basic, simple, easy to use and just what we wanted for a good price.

This was exactly what I needed and is very serviceable and easy to use. A great value for the money.

For the price, this DVD player is OK. It is a bit slow. It also is a it noisy in changing tracks. The remote is too small and not particularly user friendly. But if you just want to watch a DVD that doesn't cost a bunch and without all the bell's and whistles it's a decent choice.

My mom's DVD player finally bit the bullet after many years of watching countless DVDs. She doesn't know or care about HD movies. She has 42" 720p television that we bought for her years ago. I almost bought her a blu-ray player, but I couldn't justify spending extra for something that would never ever get used. It's hard for her to use new electronics. So whenever I buy any electronics devices for her, simplicity is key. This DVD player is as basic as it can get. It's crazy hard to find simple electronics nowadays for the older generation. This fit the bill nicely. She can work the player herself so this one is a successful purchase.

This dvd player skips sometimes but i just got it to play exercise videos so it's no big deal. The biggest bonus is we discovered it plays videos from other regions, so my husband borrowed it to watch a video series i had purchased from Australia not realizing it wouldn't play on our other dvd players. So that was nice! Also, it was super easy to set up.

I had donated my old unit. A freind of mine gave me a few DVD. I purchased this unit. It is easy to hook up , performs well and better than my old unit! I wish I would have purchased it a long time ago. YES I do recommend

I really like the compact size as it fits on the top of the stand directly under the TV. Extremely easy to install with an HDMI cable and so easy to operate. So far this has worked great!
