I had donated my old unit. A freind of mine gave me a few DVD. I purchased this unit. It is easy to hook up , performs well and better than my old unit! I wish I would have purchased it a long time ago. YES I do recommend

Needed to replace a DVD player but in times like these didn't want to spend much money. This little unit does the job for me and the cost can't be beat (for a new item). Probably deserves higher rating but I haven't used it more than just making sure it plays my dvds. Need to learn more about JPEG viewer option.

Easy set up with the RCA cables enclosed but I got a HDMI cable for better quality even though the RCA cables made a crystal clear pic. I recommend this because this had HDMI output where other DVD players in this class did not.

I bought this to use for my business as a way to show customers my work (photography). I had a lot of trouble finding a DVD player that uses HDMI instead of the red-yellow-white hookup but this one does! The quality vs. price is spot on. Good product!

For 28 bucks , how terrible can it be ?? I was suprised that the remote , does as much as it does. For the price , if it fails in half a year , it was still 5 times cheaper than a cable TV account . Gives a decent picture and sound quality .

We actually needed to buy 3 dvd players so cost was important. We didn't know much about this player except that Sylvania is a known brand. Turned out to be a wonderful choice for a good price. Easy to use and compact (which was important.)

We were happy to find this DVD player, as we have a lot of dvds to play. Works good, we are enjoying it. Good picture and easy to install and use and a great price. I hope they keep making the players.

As far as dvd players go this one gets the job done. I bought it to display a video at work so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. It did what I needed it to do, easy to use, decent quality picture.

Very basic entry level DVD player. Remote is very small and hard to read. Does have Hdmi, plus old school connections. Only had it a few days but seems to play well.

This is a great low-cost DVD player that also has HDMI out to the television. Some other low-cost ones only use component, so when I saw this I jumped at it. Just like any player it can be a bit noisy if the disks aren't perfectly flat. In a few weeks of use, there have been no problems so I would recommend this player.

Was looking for a cheap DVD player and this one was available. Easy setup and simple functions, hey it’s not a blue-ray but I was looking for cheap. Have a quality picture, couldn’t ask for anything else.

There is nothing fancy about this DVD player, but it works perfectly. Easy to set up. Nice compact size. If you are looking for a DVD player without lots of bells and whistles, but performs as promised, this is the one for you!
